I have an asus laptop. Not the exact same model as yours but similar. I run eve ok on mine. However, I had to turn off eve voice. When i logged into eve the first few times the game would crash when i undocked from stations. I found a report somewhere on these forums about similar problems and when i disabled eve voice the game worked just fine after that.

looks OK... but you'll need to kill the graphics most likely... =========================

ok thanks for that. I was playing it on my acer aspire but it had to be played on low graphics and to be honest they still werent too bad, as long as it can be played smoothly. If you guys can though, could you recomend any for about the same price?

i did also find this Asus K52N-EX366V. TECH SPECS: Processor: AMD« PhenomÖ II N660 (3.0GHz) Graphics: ATI MobilityÖ Radeon« HD4250 Storage: 320GB (5400rpm) Memory: 3072MB (1024x1, 2048 x 1) Operating System: 64bit Windows 7 Home Premium
Its cheaper, can you let me know if it would run better?

Faster clock... check! More memory.... check! Dedicated Graphics card... Check!
Absolutely my friend!

Do not get one with Intel graphics. You want one with a dedicated graphics card. Look up mobile graphics card benchmarks to get an idea of how well it will run. I run EVE fine on a Lenovo Y550P with a GT250M graphics card. I wouldn't suggest anything lower than what I've got.

The funny part about that is that the GPU main chip is actually a part of (inside) the CPU. Intel HD allegedly only has 12 shader processors, which would have been ok for a video card of 10 years ago (like, say, the GeForce 2 MX, which only had 2+4+2 = 8), but compared even to an entry-level graphics cards of today (a measly GeForce GT 520 has 48+8+4 = 60) it's pretty lame. In your case, P6200, so "Graphics Base Frequency 500 MHz" - which is not bad, but not very good either (the afore-mentioned GT 520 has a core clock of 810 MHz, but then again, the ancient GF2MX only ran at 175 MHz). Sure, there might be some differences in shader complexity and such, but I don't expect performance to be too good.
Bottom line, it will run EVE, but I wouldn't expect too much. Most likely quite playable (30+ FPS) on lowest graphics settings and low resolutions, but almost certainly single digit FPS in max graphic detail with FHD resolution (probably low single digits).

Probably better, but not by much. Same 500MHz value for the clock, core config 40:4:4 shaders (so 48, 4 times more than the integrated intel HD thing), but then again, AMD builds very simple shaders compared to NVIDIA, and no idea how the intel shaders look like in comparison. I'd say twice as fast as the above, but that's not saying much.
You MIGHT just be able to get over 10 FPS with max graphic detail in FHD resolutions, but you'll almost certainly stick to lowest graphic detail anyway, where you just might reach the screen refresh rate if you also play on the lowest resolution EVE will let you.
All in all, both options are pretty weaksauce, but the second is more likely to be slightly less bad.

I'm using a notebook with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4500.
I can run EVE on mid level graphics, just so it remains aesthetically pleasing, but it goes hot.
So a 4250 should make it on a lower graphics setting. The main problem being massive heat which will shorten the life expectancy of the notebook.
If you want to run Incarna CQ expect to have it use up to and over 1.5 GB of RAM, at least that's what mine does, so every GB over 2 is appreciated.

One thing to consider, is that when it comes to budget computing, you get a lot more performance per ú of upgrade, than you do at a higher end.
You *may* want to hang on a little while until something a little quicker becomes cheaper, or you have a little more money to toss about.
Eve has JUST has it's major graphical upgrade, so will likely maintain the same running requirements for a while... which means that the above statement is probably the best way to go on a limited budget, unless you really need it now. -------
