I've been an on-again, off-again EVE player since release... A common thread through my entire EVE experience, though, has been the hard time I've had raising money. Most often, I've tried mining-refining-selling ore (a full indy-load from Empire netting me about 1.5 million), although I've also tried level 1 agent missions. I've never looked into manufacturing before, so I don't know anything about that area.
Anyway, I want to make money. Lots of money. I want to create an income stream that will increase over time in order to meet my increasing needs.
Basically, my question is this... what's the most effective way to make ISK over time in *your* opinion, based off this list (or any other way not mentioned here):
1.) Mine-refine-sell Ore 2.) Do level 3 Agent Missions 3.) Research a BPO and sell the BPCs 4.) Manufacture off a BPC and sell the Ships/Modules

Edited by: Lanu on 01/03/2005 21:59:01 Option 2 till you can /got enough money to fly a raven then lvl 4 missions then do those for as long as possible.
Not sure how much money you have now or need but I can make 100m a week doing lvl 4 missions easy. The start is hard but when your finnaly bussy its no problem.

Mining arkonor/crokite is probably the most effective way of earning money, 20M/h is no big problem even with low industrial skills. You need to have access to .0 space though.

5. Trade: Buy consumer goods and resell them at nearby stations. Profit minimum 3M/hr... -- ** All accounts cancelled - have fun guys ** |

In Empire it is possible to make 4mil an hour mining in hi-sec systems using an Apoc. L2 missions probably come in at 2mil an hour average. L4 missions are one of the few things that earn you isk faster than mining but of course there's a lot more risk. -- (Battle hardened miner)

I forgot to mention that I have open access to several areas of 0.0 (It's good to have friends in high places :D)
I should be getting my Raven in about 14 days... I'll have to work on getting my agent levels up till then. Social skill will probably help with that... ;)

Streaming Pirates in a 0.0 with a Bs is best. Can nicly make 15 mill an hour if you know what you are doing .
The elite proably do more, and use a Apoc.

npc hunting. just too spown one belt with a 750ker. you can make 4 to 5 mil a hr. but you need a raven or = for that.
rating is always the top way too make isk vs time.

NPC hunting is prety lucrative. Depending if you luck out on the drops, you can make quite a significant amount. One evening I went hunting ang picked up 70mil worth of cargo expanders in 20 minutes. Another time it was 50mil worth of siege launchers. Other loot is sometimes common, like large accoms that sell for 20mil.
Of course there are dry spells where you get jack for a week on end. But at least there are still bounties. Just pick a system off in the boondocks, and kill as many BS as you can manage. Remember to get cruiser loot too, there is good stuff in there once in a while.

How do you all sell your loot? Do you reprocess it and sell the mins? Or do you put it up for sale on stations for players?

Refine almost everything except the good named items. The minerals stack up really fast (and i mean fast!) and soon you have enought to build a few battleships. -----------------
