Their 'standard' fit, as they are now so to speak, would be: 3x Heavy Assault Missile Launcher II's 1x MicroWarpDrive II 2x NanoFiber II's
This would give tbem: Optimal of about 8 KMs, which is the current optimal+falloff DPS potential of about 60 DPS, with rage missiles, compared to current 50 DPS flat. Normal velocity of 656 m/s, MWD velocity of 3886 m/s (compared to 650/3800 now)
The worst abuse it can have is 2x Medium Energy Neuts in the highs, meaning a lot (20 Medium Energy Neuts considering a carrier pilot with max carrier skill) of neuting. I think the meds are balanced because they lose their ability to MWD if they have anything else, making it easier to pick them off.

Hmm you could fit 2 smartbombs...
Maybe should take a look at decreasing the Capacitor (or the cap recharge) so it's possible to fit, but not viable to use.

Would be easier to create fighter only modules. Each ship would get 1 high, 1 medium, 1 low, and 2 tank slots.
The high slot would determine the weapon system. Long range and low tracking or short range and high tracking. Would like to see each racial weapon system and having smartbombs as an option would be awesome. Having neuts might be cool, but I could see them being overpowered.
The mid slot could be a AB, MWD, or an ECM.
The low slot could be a speed/agility, weapon tracking/range, weapon damage, or ECM bonus module.
The tank slots could be a mix of active tank, buffer tank, or resistance modules.

Have a lot of variation in the types of fighters and bombers you can have without having to micro manage the mods on each and every fighter. NO BOOBIES LEFT BEHIND! |

woooo, battlecruiser HP with scramblers on eeeeeeeeeeeevery one of those 15 fighters.
