Hi. I'm a relatively new player, and I would like to have some inputs on a Solo setup for a rifter in PVP. I've got about 6 million SP. I can use t2 small projectiles both auto and arty and t2 armour and speed mods.
My current set-up is:
[High-Slots] 3x 125mm Autocannons T2
[Med-Slots] 1x 1Mn Microwarp T2 1x Fleeting Webber 1x Warp Disruptor T2
[Low-Slots] 1x 400mm Rolled Tung Plate 1x Damage Control T2 1x Adaptive nano plating
[Rigs] 3x Current Routers T1

I'm not a fan of 400mm plates on a rifter. Makes it too slow and it kills agility. Try this instead:
[Rifter, Classic Rifter] Damage Control II 200mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I Small Armor Repairer II
Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters J5b Phased Prototype Warp Scrambler I X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator
150mm Light AutoCannon II, EMP S 150mm Light AutoCannon II, EMP S 150mm Light AutoCannon II, EMP S Small Nosferatu II
Small Projectile Collision Accelerator I Small Projectile Burst Aerator I [empty rig slot]
Some people prefer a MSE rifter. I don't because of the lack of a web.

Use Andrea's suggestion, it's a great learning tool.
Also, I appreciate all advice regarding skills is going to be 'get this asap' but definitely get thermodynamics ASAP since it is standard practice to start almost any Rifer engagement with guns and repper heated, possibly also ab if you need to control range and also scram if you are kiting or in certain other situations.
RF Phased plasma is the default ammo to fit and you may wish to fit other types depending on what you are engaging. It depends on tech II ship resists and if they are armour or shield tanked, it takes experience but if you are uncertain, go with PP.
finally there are a couple of standard guides to read, they are more or less up to date, I think wensleys references wrong damage types for ammo or something but otherwise is solid.

read this too, its short and sweet ~~~
