Sorry for the title, I just had to do it.
Anyway: Steve Jobs resigns as CEO of Apple.
I don't use Apple products, but I have respect for that man. All I can say is good luck, but I do wonder what Mac users think about it. |

...And there was much rejoicing
Actually not really. I couldn't care less. Never used an apple product and never wanted to. I refuse to pay twice as much just for a bloody sticker in the shape of a piece of fruit on my product.

The computeing world used to hate Mac for being such a closed system, software was never available for those who had Macs. Somehow, I think Apple has sot of killed the wild west that was computers and the internet. All your intertainment you can buy on your apple device through the apple store and you have to pay for it to boot. Worst of all everyone wants to emulate apple and create that cold sterile closed system which kills the wild creativeness we saw in the early internet age. -------------

How new is that IBM PC? Lenovo bought out IBM a while back and now (Keep in mind Lenovo is a Chinese company) they are finding all sorts of keyloggers and whatnot built into the cpu/motherboards that automatically send all sorts of **** back to China.
(Unrelated, but our military (USA) uses IBM PCs for everything, and now China basically has the ability to turn our missiles off whenever they want since they are the ones making the chips that go into our missiles which have all sorts of **** built into them. Oh how our government loves outsourcing.) R A I N B O W S |

Isn't he supposed to be dead by now?
He's either the first person to survive pancreatic cancer, or has survived with it longer than anyone else in history. Seems like the general public just kind of forgot he had it, but either of those things are pretty newsworthy.
