I understand that outlaws appear red with my current overview settlings but whY are the outlaws in my corporation showing red on the overview?
Is this a bug or yet another broken part of eve?
I struggle to see why i would ever need to see a corp mate as red, as i associate this with someone i can attack. All corp mates should appear green irrespective of security status IMO

You need to change the order of the colours / states (I can't remember the exact name).

In your overview settings put corp members at a higher priority than outlaws.

You can update your overview settings to avoid this. Someone else will have to tell you the proper settings, because I am not in game so I can't look at it. But there is a way to avoid it. It involves updating the order in which your color tags are displayed. --Vel

Edited by: Aralyn Cormallen on 25/08/2011 13:42:15 Pretty much the others have covered it, but the thing to remember is that colour tags are displyed in the order that they are arranged in your own overview settings. The tags are arranged in a list; should two 'states' apply to a player, then the game displays the top state. In this case, you have Outlaws set above Corp-mates.
Just as a quick-and-dirty solution, make sure you always have Corp, Alliance aned Fleet set above criminal statuses to prevent screw-ups like this.

Dont listen to any of these wise guys, they are red because they are stealing from you or bad mouthing you in channels you are not in.
You must kill them or they will walk all over you, do it, do it now.
