No really, I'd more seriously consider getting something if everything wasn't dull grey, blue or black. Where's the stuff like this gorgeous concept art piece? Also note all the fluff like the "crown" and decals on clothes. Is anything like this ever going to come? I'd be really disappointed if what is currently available will be the apex of what we will ever get to suit our characters with something that costs 40 euros (or a billion ISK) or more. That "sterling" dress, no way jose. That Jin-Mei outfit.. Yeah I figure I'd fork out 40 euros for that. Even if it was designed to be free by the looks of it (racial attire in tune with the old avatars).

Sell More Nex Stuff really easy. Just add 1% increases to armor, shields, damage output, pg or what ever you want. Why do we buy a faction mod for 10X the price of a t2 and get a 0.0125% increase or t2 stuff.
Because we have a need to have an added advantage over players.

ahahahahahahaha. no.
Here's a great way to sell more NEX items: Reduce the prices by a factor of ten. Being able to buy multiple outfits with a plex instead of needing multiple plexes for an outfit would make it all much more popular.

That, but let's be realistic if that will ever happen. But also making the clothes actually look desirable would go a long way; Everyone wanted to have the "sparkle pony" in WoW. NEX would need a sparkle pony of it's own. Something like that Jin-Mei concept for example.

true, but what would sell even more would be if it was pretty AND cheap. Military uniforms? No things. that concept? yesplz.

Thing is, CCP did overlook the word "micro" in the term "micro transactions". They may try to reason their pricing until the cows go home, people do actually balk at paying more than one month worth of subscription for something of questionable value.
"Questionable" because just about EVERYONE I know playing EvE has already switched off CQ so everything not showing up on a portrait has a value of about zero.
I admit, I haven't, but still I consider the NeX items to be far too expensive.
