1. what are incursions/can player corps make them They occure in random systems and you travel to them. Inccursions are system being invaded and you defend them. They are PvE and anyone can participate. Though corps may set up there own fleets.
2. what is BoB aparently they are a corp dunno BoB was a big PvP corp but they got beat and then reformed under kenzuku and then that died and they became IT alliance and are no longer a huge force in eve.
3. what are 'Sleepers' Sleepers are a type of enemy ship found in wormholes. Wormholes apear throught space and can be found by scanning. they lead to wormhole systems. Wormhole systems are dangerous as there is no concord(space police)
4. what would -0.1 be? Neg sec? 0.0 is as low as it goes. at 0.0 there is no security.
5. what are interdicters A type of ship, they are normally piloted in 0.0 and are used to prevent people from running away by canceling peoples warp drives in an area called a "bubble" they can also stop capital ships from warping.
6. what is a grav site A site found by scanning, normally a grav site is asteroids..
7. can a ISD member clarify this please; velosity meter: is it miles/sec or meters/sec is it even /sec? Meters a second
8. respect among theves? can you join sansha/seprentis/angel corps? No, but some people pretend.

Being blobbed is when you start a fight against either a solo target or a small group, only to have a huge gang of their friends jump into system from next door and warp in on top of you. This is what leads to all the whines about how solo PvP is "dead".
Also to clarify a few answers you got in the previous post: Any system lower than 0.1 is referred to as nullsec, and all the nullsec rules apply (such as the ability to fire bombs and deploy AOE warp disruption.) You will however see systems of -0.1, -0.2 etc sec status, which denotes the "true sec" of the system. It's still nullsec though.
You can't "join" a pirate NPC corp, but you can run missions for them if you have the standings. Their mission agents work just like any other mission agent, but they only exist in nullsec.

0.0 to -1.0 is called nulsec. Once upon a time 0.0 was the lowest sec displayed as the truesec value was not shown. Now the rounded trusec value is shown.
Wormhole space (w-space) is also -1.0

A few corrections here ...
BoB was an alliance that held sovereign space in the south (Delve, Querious, others) until they were disbanded by the goons (some epic heist stuffs there -- you can find an interview with Mittani on youtube).
The Band of Brothers alliance was comprised of six major corporations; Black Eclipse Corp (BNCE), Black Nova Corp (BNC), Destructive Influence (DICE), Evolution (EVOL), Finfleet (FINFL) and Reikoku (RKK), as well as several smaller support and holding corporations.
They re-formed under KenZoku for a short time, then as IT Alliance, and re-took Delve/Querious for about 12-18 months.
Former BOB/IT corporations are battling it out with NCdot.

Edited by: Xercodo on 27/08/2011 16:47:06 All negative security is under the category of null sec (0.0)
null sec ranges from 0.0 to -1.0
-1.0 being where the best spawns are and stuff

Welcome. Btw... this isn't 4chan or /b/ so don't try to act "cute" here (not without some kills/scams under your belt at least).

1. what are incursions/can player corps make them
Incursions are NPC "invasions." Quite basically, NPCs pirates "take over" an area and reduce the effectiveness of player ships within that area until they are "removed." Said NPC ships possess "top tier" AI and will curbstomp you without proper planning, ship fitting, and support skills... In short... it's not newbie content. Far from it.

2. what is BoB aparently they are a corp dunno
BoB was an Alliance (a collection of Corporations) that took over a good chunk of "null-sec" (0.0 to -1.0) space. What made them special was how they kept up their community (holding annual BBQs where many people in the Alliance would meet in-person), the fact that they were largely hated because they were so big and successful (haters gonna hate), and in how they were taken down. With that last part (I might be a bit fuzzy in the details but...), one of the directors of BoB got a "bit" disillusioned/mad/POed/bribed/something and used his rank to disband the alliance... while keeping "quite a few" assets to himself.

3. what are 'Sleepers'
NPC "drones" that only live inside of wormholes. They can be found by probing out complexes inside of wormholes (which you also have to probe) and salvaged for some pretty nifty parts that are used in T3 ship production. "Sleepers" are not your normal NPC though... they have advanced AIs, move blindingly fast, use certain types of electronic warfare, and deal omni-damage (and a lot of it).

4. what would -0.1 be? Neg sec?
It's still considered "null-sec." In days past, that value was never displayed and so all space outside of the NPC empires would be seen as "0.0" Today, the numbers displayed tells one how "valuable" the system might be... with -0.1 having relatively minimal "value" and -1.0 having relatively high "value." And I say "relative" because null-sec in general is quite profitable compared to high-sec (1.0 to 0.5) and low-sec (0.4 to 0.1).

5. what are interdicters
Tech 2 Destroyers. They have slightly upgraded stats and a "specialty" that only one other ship type can perform... launching Area of Effect Warp Disruptor probes. This weapon prevents people from warping off within a given area, effectively forcing a confrontation/conflict/battle. The one major limitation this weapon has is that it can only be used out in null-sec (0.0 to -1.0).

6. what is a grav site
A complex you can probe out. Has quite a bit of asteroids for you to mine.

7. can a ISD member clarify this please; velosity meter: is it miles/sec or meters/sec is it even /sec?
Meters per second.

8. respect among theves? can you join sansha/seprentis/angel corps?
Nope. But you can work for their agents. Just head out to their respective "areas" out in null-sec (and mind the gate-camps). _______________________
