Please take heed, due to the unforseen amount of warfare with Sansha, I have taken command of an old alliance. Cyberknights please apply. \/

Edited by: Sakuma Ogunuchi on 01/09/2011 13:51:31 Even among Cyberknight capsuleers, the 'Noble Exchange' monocle is the worst of fashion faux pas. In terms of drawing ridicule from your peers it's similar to active armor tanking a Drake or putting lasers on a Vagabond. --------------------- Quality Caldari goods. |

Edited by: Maximillian Triton on 01/09/2011 15:53:05 I doubt any true Khanid Cyber Knight, myself included, would follow you to Khanid Prime from Khitaled, so I wish you luck with, whatever it is you are trying to do.

Edited by: Valkarth Tlakotani on 01/09/2011 20:48:40 As far as looks are concerned, I find myself disconcerted by the amount of people who concentrate on their rhetoric rather than the war. This so called 'monocle' is inherent to my generation of cyberknights. It is not a 'show' piece in any way shape or form... indeed were I conscious of dress uniforms I'd be wearing dark glasses to hide it. The laser built into the 'monocle' is a last ditch device designed to be overpowered and fired in a single shot against ground forces, while taking my clone out through total cybernetic burn so that nothing is available to 'tomb tap'. [read that as detection of memory cortices through electrochemical means] If it is not used as a 'burn' device the thing can fire low power single shots [recharge time 1 minute] at prey. The picture seen is of myself doing some night hunting of wild slaverhounds. Quite a rush. The eyepiece is also slaved to the electroos on my face and so on to facilitate increased sensory enhancement. Very few of us can become capsuleers as you know since it requires a specific mental electro cognitive makeup. Extra sensory nanites such as my generation of cyberknights take an even more specific regimen of training and preparation. [senses in microwaave, etc must be learned] Luckily for us, the Khanid and Amarr people have had centuries long lifespans for their warriors, something no other group can match, save perhaps Sansha. And that is why Sansha must die, my friends. I hope that this clears up the notions of 'dress' and assure you that when invited to meetings I'll at least wear a quafe t-shirt

While wearing a Quafe shirt would be preferable over this, it wouldn't exactly help to make you look more Amarrian yet. Being a cyberknight is more than just implanting a few cybernetics.

It's sold in every station in New Eden...
I'd consider buying one but I prefer to spend my isk on angry ships to kill people. I can't heal stupid

"An extremely rare and sought-after implant available only to the wealthy and powerful of New Eden, the Looking Glass monocle interface offers advanced vision augmentation beyond the capabilities of all comparable prosthetics or upgrades. Full-spectrum optic weave filters, nanofiber refraction lenses, an enhanced NeoCom uplink, and a blackbox holovid recorder linked directly to the memory centers in the temporal lobe are just some of its groundbreaking options. When combined with the specialized training and equipment unique to capsuleers, the Looking Glass is an efficient interfacing tool, not to mention a dramatic fashion statement."
At no point does it mention a laser.
