Just curious CCP, what is the thought on direction for NEX clothing items concerning "style"? All items released to date are fairly "standard" styles not much different than standard clothing. Do you have plans to release more "colourful" items like (for example) pirate hats, smoking pipes and puppydog ties?

Smoking pipes, (non-shade) eyeglasses and (non-cybernetic) monocles, deerstalker hats, designer walking canes, dapper suits and a nice roaring fireplace for my CQ.
I approve.
Also, I would like a pet that I can return home to after my q̶u̶e̶s̶t̶s̶ adventures. Maybe a Basset hound or a st. Bernard with a keg of best brandy.

More subsystems.
Firstly, I love your cookery programmes and your innocently sexual presentational style.
Secondly, +1 to a Tengu mining subsystem.

The NeX is like a country fair. See, there are dumba**es who will spend $20 on a rigged game so that they can get a $0.50 item as a trophy. It's the same people who buy things in the NeX.
So, design is not as important as say taking a dump on a desk and then offering it up as something exclusive. One of you idiots will buy it so you can think of yourselves as special. But, to the rest of us who are noone's fool 'special' very much resembles the 'special' in "special education".

People spend ISK every day on ships/modules that aren't necessarily the best or even practical, but rather because they look/sound cool.
It's not really a big leap to realize people will do the same for their Avatar.
It's only ISK, my friend.
PS: If you are spending real money for these items, you're doing it wrong.

I wouldn't mind a good suit. Black pin-stripe, rich purple or crimson red shirt, with a plain black tie.

I take it you're one of the white knights who's never, ever sold a PLEX for ISK.
Also, thankfully clothes are available on the market so I don't have to spend a single real cent. :)

1. The female blouses are dumb, design rule: no breast pockets on breasts. Just replace the art, no one will complain except the trolls and who cares about them
2. The pants look, from behind, like I am wearing my gstring outside my pants.
3. There are no stockings, I know Iceland is remote, but generally stockings are worn with dresses, especially the skirts you have designed which are kind of formal, except the camo, but I am not sure where I would wear a camo knee length skirt?
4. There is no "little black dress", hello?
5. Pre Incarna there was some neck jewerly, where is the spiked choker?
6. Some clothing items are basic, but you made them race specific, for example, the little black leather jacket should be global to all races, duh?

It's too easy to destroy that statement. If you know you can only spend money once, you must be being deliberately stupid to elicit a response, which response are you hoping for? Let me know so I don't let you down. |

I'd like to see some sci-fi clothing.
To the OP, aren't the people running the Nex qualified to determine what ahould go in the store? They would have a very comprehensive knowledge of the unique clothing differences for each race and would have plenty of designs in mind to make sure the game ramains immersive. They wouldn't **** over all that EVE lore and backstory just to monetise it.

It's too easy to destroy that statement. You do realize that taking the money spent on hiring someone else to do the designs and hiring and training new developers with it won't get your issues corrected any faster. Throwing more coders at a problem is usually counter productive.
You're right though, being obtuse and using sweeping generalizations is a LOT more fun that being realistic.

OMG! I don't give a flying (swear) about clothes/textures/colors/skin covering.
Blah, Blah, Blah.
This is a space game! with spaceships! in solar systems! and lasers! and missiles! and explosions in nebulas! etc. etc. (will control my raging for the moment)
CCP really messed up. They should have introduced new optional color scemes for space "ships" and space "poses" and weapons effects. Maybe introduce minor events in the game. aka, small Incursion.
Wake up CCP! You alienated 80% of your player base and the only reason half of them are still playing is they spent a lot of time making their character good at flying in SPACE.
But I regress and gain control of my trolling, or whatever CCP wants to call it. It is my honest opinion of the Incarna expansion. I love this game and hope CCP realizes that dictorial salesmanship just ****es off customers, not makes them money.

This. It's all so bloody dull now, like the designers have been straightjacketed into making generic contemporary s-f movie clothing, instead of letting their imaginations run riot on what a far-future civilization that's been separated from the mainstream of mankind for thousands of years would wear.
It's now Gay Bikers In Space who shop at GAP. *****
