face the facts 0.0 is all about moons and sov high sec is all about carebears running missions 24/7 and macro miners, whats there in low sec? no moons(due to 0.0 alliances taking them all) not really safe to mission without getting scaned, plexs hmm i dont even see them anymore.. low sec has the most risk shouldent we be making more? stock.

Something really does need to be done about low sec areas.
Anymore, they are nothing but a control zone for null sec alliances to fight over to shut down the high to null sec movement of null sec alliances.
Perhaps they should seperate null sec from low sec.
Instead of low sec being nothing more than a gateway to null sec, perhaps they should also make low sec constellations that are assentially battle grounds of the factions fighting off pirates to take control of the areas or fighting against each other.
These systems would have no real ties to any null sec system to keep these areas from being pass through zones.
These areas would have to be large enough to keep groups from coming in and owning the whole area, but small enough to not take up a huge part of the map. Also, these areas would have several different ways in and out to avoid them all being gate camped.

1. Move incursions to low sec 100% 2. Exploration in low sec is quite good 3. Make mission NPCs like sleepers; have them switch aggro to new arrivals 4. Get friends.

null is lower risk than lowsec, lowsec is more populated than null... in null you can rat officers all day and sometimes never see another ship... Lowsec does deserve more rewards... maybe more rewarding escelations going from null to low and high to low?

first...faction warfare has what you need. they fight for "space" out there in low sec.
second...you do know pirates like 0.0 peeps rolling in their space, right. Get to kill blobbers, gank their really stupid jf and assorted haulers. Why moon mine...one good drop from a tard jf pilot kill...can be a month of mined moon goo no pos required lol.
third...its the low sec run that adds to the danger of 0.0. made the run lots of times. In low sec I have no intel. Every gate an adventure. Hit 0.0 and around my alliances space....I know of camps 5 jumps out down to numbers and ship types if lucky.
Plus Already have the alternative of direct access. Torrinos/ec-....fly there sometime. BLue to the controlling corp/alliance of ec-....easiest jump to 0.0 you will have. Not blue....might be a short trip. many prior owners loved its convenience. Easy jf runs...and hell its a system that rakes in killmails by the dozens daily, pvp delivered like a friggin pizza.

Got level 5s?
Their LP rewards alone are 10x that of a level 4, level 4 now make 7200 max (around that, haven't been paying much attention of late) with the agent fix while last time I checked shortly before the level 5 fix to lowsec they were making something like 62,000 and this was before I buckled down to max out social skills, I don't even know what they top out at. So for less effort and more risk you can make more LP by running less missions with the fear of being attacked or with more effort (meaning more missions to run) and less risk you can run missions in highsec with a greater degree of safety.

Eve is a hardcore game with a high learning curve especially for players that are just starting out, there are also veterans who would rather spend their time in empire space doing relevant activities. what ever the case they have their own reasons why they chose to stay in empire.
There is little incentive for players to want to seek out resources for their endeavors in the lower security regions. Miners and mission runners are happy to just do the usual grind.
I am sure this has been mentioned before, but placing a cap on mineral resources in high security space might push more activities in the the lower sec regions. the same could be done on mission's where only a certain amount of missions can be carried out on one agent in high sec. this would force individuals to move on, going through a cycle between agents. eventually pushing them lower and lower into the lower reaches of security level. perhaps there should be a necessary "need" to go in low sec to be able to earn and buy your bread and butter items of the game.
I find it humorous to see people complain that the carebear population are just content to do their thing. well if conditions were better then they would be streaming into the low security regions.
