Vanishing Point is currently recruiting. VANIS is the largest corp in The Initiative., with a very strong PvP focus (check our killboard) and a long term, stable corp membership (many members are in their 3rd year in the corp)
The successful applicant should self-reliant, a creditable killboard and have around 25M SP (if you have a little less than this, you might still qualify if you can show that you are an active, useful PvPer with lots of 0.0 experience). You should enjoy regular fighting, primarily in alliance fleets, often outnumbered, and in a variety of doctrines. You will be familiar with 0.0 life and fleet protocol, and need minimal hand-holding to quickly settle in to wherever we are staging from at the moment (Currently Delve). Carrier skills or a carrier alt are a strong advantage: we are in a mobile alliance and we frequently deploy to other areas of 0.0
VANIS is primarily focused towards alliance level activity, but there are also corp projects which you will be welcome to participate in once you have settled in.
We are mostly EU-TZ corp, but we do have some US-TZ members who would be more than happy to welcome you, and if you like small-gang roams in this TZ, then you will be in the right corp.
INIT. are currently a member of the Honey Badger Coalition, so we work with and are blue to TEST and Pandemic Legion and the other members of the HBC. There are no other blues (this should be plenty of blues for you)
If you think you might be interested in joining a strong, active, PvP corp then drop by our public channel (Called "VANIS") and have a chat.
Please note that our corp CEO is also the leader of the alliance and, along with the rest of the corp leadership, a very keen PvPer as well, so you will not always get instant responses. Patience is a plus here. Malcanis' Law: Any proposal justified on the basis that "it will benefit new players" is invariably to the greater advantage of older, richer players.

I should also add that another fringe benefit of being a VANIS member is that Burnizz will offer you expensive ships at favourable prices.
I am definitely a satisfied customer! Malcanis' Law: Any proposal justified on the basis that "it will benefit new players" is invariably to the greater advantage of older, richer players.

What Malc means is that I am stupid. Not that I am nice. Which is not very nice of Malc.

I would add, that we have a corp in Ally where you can get capital ships for reasonable prices (so even when you are not buying it from Burnizz, you can have cheap ships ) and we have several People who fly more than once a week to Jita and back no matter where our Corp/Alliance is staged at that moment. |
