My Ishkur loses 2 of it's 4 drones whenever I switch to another ship because it's 50% drone bay bonus per level is lost when it is not active.

It's a feature not a bug.
Preventing certain limited exploitation.... i.e. filling a Ishtar with max HAC skill and then trading it to someone who has less.

There was already a check against this where your ship wouldn't undock if it was overloaded. This is not a feature it is just annoying.

And the exploit is where?!!?
The drones should ofcourse be removed from the ship when a person with a lower skill enters it.. This "fix" is not a fix, its just a waste of code.
The real fix is to let the items stay, and kick out items if another player enters and has lower skills. ------------- Most tired of thing atm: - Mods on the forum saying: "Please use the bug report page to submit bugs, the forum is not the place to post them." and then closing a topic. |

Just be glad it doesn't do what it used to, and offlined all your modules and spit your drones out when you ejected, because being that there was no pilot, it had no skills for any of it.
They just need to fix it by adding an "empty pilot" object that has maximum skills that fills the ship when you eject, yet still leave you with the board ship option.

This anoys the hell out of me. I can see the problem if you leave your ship by a planet or something but not when it's in your own hangar.
