oh... yeah... you can set a fee so people are less likely to spam you. From 0 to 100000000000000000000 whatever. To stop spam was the intention, anyway.

That was the CSPA fee. The other player doesnt get the ISK, its an isk sink.
CSPA stands for Concord Spam Prevention Act. Inject your skillbook before you leave the station. Neo didnGÇÖt learn Kung-Fu by having it sit in his usb drive.-á If it moves, shoot it. If it doesn't move, poke it with your gun and then shoot it. We are not running, we are advancing in the opposite direction |

The guy does not want to be contacted so he sets the CSPA to 1mil. He does not get the isk, it just disappears. Ungi ma+¦urinn ++ekkir reglurnar, en gamli ma+¦urinn ++ekkir undantekningarnar. The young man knows the rules, but the old man knows the exceptions. |

CSPA charge is a value between 0 and 1.000.000 ISK Restrictions has been made, in order to prevent people from going completely broke
Personally, I will recommend you set CSPA charge to 0 Player interaction is a huge part of EVE Online, and you might just miss out on quite a bit of that with a high CSPA.
Of course, having high CSPA charge is a good way to avoid needless spam. ISD Etetia Commander ISD STAR |

This, I almost never get spam. And convo's from strangers can result in a lot of fun/tears. Ungi ma+¦urinn ++ekkir reglurnar, en gamli ma+¦urinn ++ekkir undantekningarnar. The young man knows the rules, but the old man knows the exceptions. |

I recommend setting your CSPA charge to 0.
I've had mine at 0 since I started playing several years ago, and spam has not been a problem.
I think the only time I'd set CSPA > 0 would be temporarily to avoid dirty fleet tactics like spamming convo invites.
