I don't know much about SMA but I have seen quite a few corporations getting kicked from their respective (CFC/HBC) alliances and the explanations that go along with such a purge always look the same - whereas the stories told by the kicked corporation tend to show a lot more variety.
Think on it.

Everyone will have their own point of view on why / how a corp leaves / gets removed.
It's just like a battle report, it's going to look very different depending on which side of the gun barrel you're on.
Stop trying to create some kind of conspiracy theory and begin to realize that sometimes, things are as they seem. Especially in the eye of the beholder.

Questions on why a corp gets kicked will always be somethign that an alliance tries to manage behind closed doors unless you're TEST. Most alliances try to quell the issue before it becomes public knowledge. When all the facts, as the leadership sees fit are in order, you release a statement of your view.
No, you might not agree with it, but then again... It ain't your alliance so you don't

Sometimes they are, often they are not.
In my experience the goals of communicating that the present alliance leadership are the good guys (who have been extremely lenient), that the conflict was over some isolated issue (preferably over 2-3 corp leadership guys, never over a matter of alliance organization, policy, ..., never any involvement of other corporations within the alliance in the conflict) and of trying to keep as many of the kicked corporation's members within the alliance as possible tend to override any desire for accurate information 9 times out of 10.

To be honest with you, it was multiplex gaming leadership that was the problem. I don't think River wanted to punish the whole group because they had issues with their leadership. Like River said in his message, SMA is a tight community of players. Their friends. So you try to overlook some issues, but eventually it boils over and something has to be done. Nobody really wanted Multiplex to leave alliance. I at least didn't.

Also I will add that MPX has been in SMA for almost 3 years, been there when SMA was a little baby. You are in no position to make a call on who the "problem" was based on accusations presented to you by the alliance leader, especially since you have been in XBLX for 4 days, and you were gone for 4 months prior to being in SMA again. Hand fed info is not 100% reliable. Go educate yourself before making a propaganda post on a topic you have no idea on. We were a founding corp for SMA, MPX poured blood, sweat and tears to get SMA where it is now. Before going and blaming MPX, go and question the claims brought up by your alliance leader.

No matter the alliance name, actions against alliance interests or alliance members from a single or group members (corp) should never ever be forgiven.
I don't know you guys but this is for sure the best action you could take on to get rid of scum. Sadly some players will be victims but it's for the greater good, if they're smart enough they will stick around and laugh at those who abused their trust..

Considering river tried doing the same thing with electric cucumbers, i am completely not surprised. Despite announcing our intentions of forming our own null alliance, they continue to wish to give us grief despite being the corp that puts forth half their fleet numbers.
