Hi ,
As many of you may know we¦re building TECH2 items on a rather big scale.
We¦re a relatively small corporation and are allready running, in addition to our production, 8 POS. That¦s not very much considering the fact that our weekly component consumption is over 120.000 components making it a total of around 530.000 units per month.
It was clear that agents would stop giving out TECH2 components at some point, so we started to work on a partnership-concept.
Many will say now ; why don¦t you guys just buy what you need on the market, there are enough POS owners ? To a certain level this is true. There is another factor which will have a very big influence on tradeing in general which will make it very hard to organise a complete production chain without building it up from scratch - the highways or better, their absence.
The new patch will create many ecosystems, almost completely isolated from each other. Sure, travel will still be possible, but what¦s a 2 jump hop now may well be a 15-20 jump voyage after the patch.
Another point is the introduction of small and medium sized control towers which will have only limited usability....
We came to the conclusion that, in order for our production to funcion properly, the complete production chain (not for all components, but for a majority)has to take place in one single region of space.
Anyway, this is what we have in mind.
We¦re looking for small/medium sized corporations who want to enter, or allready are active in the POS industry but haven¦t found a way to make it worth while.
Our business depends on reliability. If you think you¦re able to maintain one or even more POS and enjoy teamwork, this might be what you¦re looking for.

I've got some questions regarding this generous and interesting propostion.
1. You say you want to focus on a single region of space, which one are you looking at, and will you consider membership of corporations outside that space if they already have established and successful POS operations?
2. If your already involved in the POS industry and not only producing raws/simple reactions/complex reactions, will the partnership also purchase completed components?
3. You say 100% sales guarantee at a reasonable price, is that a reasonable set price, or a reasonable price that will fluctuate with market value?
4. What are the benefits of stepstone membership?
Thats all I got right now, but you definetly have my curiousity.

Don't mind him, he posts the same thing in every NAGA topic. We have a POS in PF-346 and it hurts their ego to know we successfully continue to do so.
Also, IAC, The Stepstone organization isn't a "stepping stone" program. It's an organization made of NAGA associates, like me and my corp, who work with NAGA to build, produce or whatever else they may think to do. As for POS profits, NAGA rewards hard work rather than just simply being a warm body. To those who work hard for the dangerous 0.0 only moon materials, they get paid quite well.

And if the slightly overworked Lord Byron hasn't replied to an evemail you sent, I'd suggest visiting the "NAGA pos project" channel. Usually has people online there who can fill you in on what's going on and what the current status of the project is.

My corp is looking for a buyer for unprocessed moon minerals. We're tempted to build a medium POS but are worried we won't be able to find a buyer as we can't do any reactions ourselves.

Hey guys, since it's nearly impossible to contact all of u (the sheer amount of mails coming in daily is impossible to cope with), we suggest u visit the ingame channel "naga pos project", where there is always ppl that can tell u what u can expect and what is expected from u.
We are not looking for simple "we have material X, pls buy it" deals. We are looking for people and corps who want to have an active role in what is possibly the largest POS network to date. This can only be done with close co-oporation and preferably on the same wavelenght.
The N.A.G.A POS Project, just like the Stepstone project, aims at paying a fair price to everybody involved in this massive project. Which is working out great, might I add :-)

I found this thread on page 12 and i¦m more than surprised that there are still people out there reding it and contacting us ....
I¦d like to thank everybody participating in the project.
You¦ve not only done an excellent job maintaining your POSes , but also showed a lot of patience during the whole kick off process.
It wasn¦t allways easy and we encountered a lot of problems on the way but all of you deserve our deepest respect for sticking to this huge enterprise without moaning.
I hope it really paid off and met your expectations - thank you
As mentioned above, there are still people contacting us.
If you join the project channel you¦ll find out very soon that, even though we¦re present , we¦re not allways very active due to other responsabilities we have to take care of.
In that case, just try to either talk to someone you see there or send us a mail; it will be answered asap.
If you need more detailed information , try to reach Ishida or Saerid. They are real experts when it comes to answer any questions about POS and moon material.
Please remember that this project channelis not a marketplace.
Its purpose is to coordinate the raw material and reaction flow and allows its members to have a drink at the bar before the next shift
