My advice? If you see the name of any alliance you're looking to join used in the same sentence as "CTA," steer clear. This post was crafted by a member of the Goonswarm Federation posting cabal, the foremost authority on Eve: Online posting.

If they were a thief they could just go into the recruitment channel and be in gullible corp in 5 minutes.
You really do need to get into a big alliance if you want to go into nullsec. You need to take your time choosing who you want to join, and there are a few things to take into account when looking.
- What kind of fleet doctrine do they use? Armor or shields, battleships of BCs. Make sure your going to be able to take part in their fleets, otherwise you are going to be very bored. - Make sure they have a ship replacement program. Without one of those your PvP losses will quickly send a new player back to highsec to make up for your losses, which will put a serious dampner on your nullsec experience. - Make sure they're new pilot friendly, and make sure they will help you get down to nullsec. Getting there on your own without help is a very frustrating experience for a new player. - Make sure you can get stuff down there, or they are able to move some of your stuff down for you. NEVER contract them your stuff before you get into a corp

Mandatory CTA is the thing to avoid. Stay away from alliances that use loop hole catch terms like J4G too. |

To be completely honest, if you want to learn about nullsec, have a good time in it, and are new, there is no better option than Goonswarm or TEST. Both alliances also tend to win their wars, unlike pretty much everyone else in EVE, heh. TEST Alliance BEST Alliance |

Goons and TEST both are pretty clear on how to join and not get scammed if you spend 2 minutes actually reading info on their own websites.
They're both really good for new players and would advise joining either. |

are you kidding? You couldn't be worse at trolling. You post a thread about wanting to live in nullsec in GD section, knowing that it would get flammed since you are not even in the right section and then try and make that look like we are just being mean to you and wont let you in our super secret club...
Its so ******* easy to get in nullsec. Go to the recruitment section asshat, there are like 10 threads on the front page for 0.0 corps.

I'd happily let you join my corp, but this thread smells like scam bigtime.
Would you accept sending me 500 Million ISK as insurance ?
I will convo you after you've sent the money. In the convo, we'll have a talk, i'll ask you about your API key (will guide you through that if necessary) and after the interview you'll get your money back.

Actually most (not all, most) of the alliances centered on the western side of EVE are very newbie friendly when it comes to fresh faces from empire wanting to try things out.
If you're really interested groups like TRIBE and TEST have corps that are generally always hiring.
My advice to you is fairly simple:
1) Don't join any alliance that wants a fee up front
2) Don't pay to join any alliance or corp, for any reason at all (outside of a modest corp tax that you'll get benefits from)
3) Don't join any alliance that makes ops mandatory
There are dozens of alliances that instantly fit that bill, hold space and are willing to teach you how to do things in 0.0. The idea that 'null bears won't let anybody into their club' is a fallacy (also the term nullbear is infantile and silly), you just have to look around because CCP won't let us put up gigantic NOW HIRING billboards around empire. |

Imho, the only requirements to join a nullsec corp/alliance is to know how to read, and do your research. "I think weGÇÖre just getting closer and closer to a place where the people we lose are people that itGÇÖs okay to lose." -Kristoffer Touborg, Eve lead designer |
