I am curious, Does CCP on every expansion increase the universe? Or does that happen time to time? I would appreciate a honest answer, but let's face it. There are alot of trolls AND liars....so if your any of those....the very LEAST you can do...is make it funny... |

No, they don't. I think the last expansion of the universe in known space was the opening of the Drone Regions, followed by wormhole space. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTzA_xesrL8 |

Expand? What like copy and paste so there are just more of the same systems? I think there's plenty of space... it just needs to be developed. Everything in null is pretty evenly distributed... they should vary resource distribution more and put more *stuff* in the systems themselves.

As far as I know the last expansion to introduce new space was Apocrypha which added 2497 wormhole systems to the game. Homo sapiens non urinat in ventum -á-á-á ---CCP can't patch stupid--- |

My SQL is 'meh', but I get:
| WormHoles | 2498 | | HighSec | 1090 | | LowSec | 535 | | NullSec | 3524 |
Any expansion would be highsec / low sec I guess. But, why do we need it? It's far from 'crowded' (With the exception of market hubs and the odd 'sov grind' systems). ---- CONCORD arrested two n00bs yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the other was eating fireworks. They charged one and let the other one off. |

Yes CCP, add more empty systems. We need more breathing room. I want to be able to jump gates for hours and not see another person in local. Basically, turn flying in space into WiS... Forever alone..... Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings? |

Actually, when I first played Eve, one of the things that really appealed to me was the idea that I could find completely empty space, see no one else for hours on end and do some exploration, finding all manner of weird and wonderful things.
Unfortunately, those nasty folk in null will not allow me to do this in peace and quiet.
Good for them.
Little did I understand how Eve works at the time.

I've always thought that, if they expanded it, they should add another highsec area, BUT the new highsec area is like tacked onto the far left/right/something. In other words, there is a bunch of nullsec between the two.
I just think it would make things interesting >_> |

On every expansion? No.
They created a new region, Black Rise, back in 2008 iirc.
Also added all the wormhole systems as part of Apocrpha.
Apart from that I have not seen any plans for expansion of the universe.
If you want somewhere quiet, try Solitude. The bottom line is that now I have one of those annoying signatures. |

Developing what they have to encourage people to move into it would be better. About 60% of nullsec is wasteland that exists only to prop up mining towers and slap peoples names on a chunk of space. Lowsec is even worse off. I know it's been hashed to death but it's that whole risk vs reward thing.
The more effort it takes to be in certain space, the more reward you should get for being there.
Highsec should be the place to retreat to and ship through. You should also be able to eek out a stable if not opulent living here. Lowsec should be where you first REALLY start making money. This should be the space where corporations are proven. Nullsec should be where the riches are, and there should be decent strategic reasons to hold those riches by alliances. Wormhole space should practically **** isk as it's the most difficult place to live.
How can we do this? I have absolutely no clue. |

Thanks for the replies. I am actually surprised this has stayed nice and clean...lol
Now with the whole needing space, I have tried finding. *Months of research and exploration some...did not end to well for me* and I honestly found that the, Empty spaces in null sec are left open for that reason I think, some new guys come in, start set up show. Hooligans next door go ape **** on you, and your forced to move back with nothing. lol
I could be wrong, But that's what I am seeing.
Every time I came in a null space that there was people next door, it was simply, Hey....squeal like a pig boy type deal. lol

Nullsec isn't for individuals. Like I said, highsec should be for the solo pilots, lowsec should be where you bring friends, but get bonus rewards for doing so, and null should be for empires. |

Oh, Certainly. I was simply looking, getting a direct look at what was in there so on. and whats next door and so on, I was planning on throwing the idea to the alliance that maybe we could move in this empty space together. lol But when I saw that, and seeing how they could barely handle a WH, I said F that idea.

I agree with this 100%
In Nullsec it should be in the form of "Upgradable" space though. You could even make it so lowsec is upgraded by faction warfare dudes and percentage based control. |

I thought you could alhready upgrade it in a sense. Like install this thing or what ever, and the space would have more combat sites so on and so on.
I guess I am wrong? |

You technically can but it's honestly kinda blase. I'm talking about being able to buy mission agents for your guys to run, things like that. |

I have the same nostalgic feeling, my solution - covert ops subsystem, anti bubble subsystem and you are free to explore null again.

To meny empty low sec and null solar systems, expanded universe sound cool, but who may control it? If we got like + 10 or 20 regions or somthing like this, inflation grow becaus meny null carebears travel to deep 0.0 and they start farming isk without any risk, even these days this risk vs reward - incomes in 0.0 got very low factror, but if we got like 200.000 new subscribers or at last 120.000 people in game day after day, maybe CCP decide to expand space, but here also another thing, hardware... expanded space mean more nodes etc. |
