EVE Online is making a presence on the UK Sci-Fi channel with a commercial/2 minute review and competition for an alienware PC with lots of cool swag. Check out the Sci Fi Recommends page on the UK Sci Fi channel site for more details and information.

Something simmilar in the US would be nice, and if i were you i would mention the fact of alliances and really emphasize the stuff that makes EvE different. i.e - the choice between PvP and not, all one server, etc...
Still good to see stuff like that and wish i lived in the UK so i could try and win that alienware pc... btw answer is Apollo ---------------

Congrats you guys are getting plenty of attention / awards of late lets see graphics award - recognizition on the sci fi channel - all good.
Keep the good working coming - of course the next patch will boost youre leadership in this gaming genre even more
Aim high 100,000 users (might need a more powerful or more servers if that happens lol) and hopefully more exposure in the key USA market

Nice. Here is sort of finnish gaming tv program. Dont think they have shown review of eve yet. Maybe it would help if we all listed these type of tv programs/channels on each country that are popular?

This australian knows about eve online - i would like a monthly breakdown from CCP on the amount of players from each country globally - just to see the numbers and from what countries they represent
the anzac channel is usually full and word of mouth and some minor advertising sees 60,000 paying customers playing eve - with the technological edge and superior open ended gameplay, options and content eve online should be viable and growing profts for 10 years at least.

Personally, my opinion of Alienware has died ever since I pointed a friend to them when they were looking for a laptop. $3.4k later, we ended up with a system that overheated right out of the box to the point where it would crash the system, found that tech support completely ignores the customer and took us three months before we could finally get it sent in to have it repaired, then when it came back all they did to fix it was swap out the graphics card *I'm almost positive there were more issues than that* and not a week after we got the card back, the fan on the graphics card is dead/dying *grinds, sputters, and occasionally stops altogether.* So yeah, not pleased with them. Told them about all the trouble we're having and got a cookie cutter responce on their technical support process. Fun. Never going near them again.
Nifty commercial though. ------------------------------------------- "What's it like being a turtle?" "It's a lot like being a walking house that eats lettuce." (Hurray temp sig!) |

Well thas a difficult question...
Perhaps if they asked:
What is the color of milk?
1 White
2 Blue
3 Green
Perhaps this way people would had a chance to guess

it's a pretty big channel with a fair few people who watch it, because of the fact it shows just about every Sci-Fi series that's ever been created, and most of the cult/classic horror and sci fi films that are avaiable.
A lot of sci-fi fans watch it
