If you remove the gate/station aggression, fleet battles will be retarded. One fleet will sit on a gate, and that will be it. Everyone in that fleet now has a one-click 'escape combat now' button. Its even worse with a station because then its an "Escape combat now, recharge sheilds/cap completely, and be back in the fight in 30 seconds" button.
Gate aggression was put in for a reason. It would be idiotic to take it out.

Agreed.
I remember how it used to be. People would sit at a gate, ganking hapless passerbys. Then something bigger would turn up, and they'd simply click the gate and jump away.

Thanks for all the replies guys even the silly ones.
Ummm lemme see now if I shoot back that gets me aggro timer and cant jump/dock and this was brought in to prevent lameness. ( lameness in online gaming  Surely not  )
Ok I got to admit that Im still a little sore about losing my raven but you've sold me. I change my stance keep the gate timer as it is.
