I for one closed my petitions and left only the CEO to talk with the GM`s. I find hard to belive that they don`t have logs for it. If we all start shooting Concord in Empire, CCP will surely know that, or if we kill someone we always get a killmail, so not having a log n a conquerable station I don`t think so. For example a few of our bored guys started a few weeks ago shooting a NPC station just 4 fun and tanked it with no problems...the next day after the dt the sentry guns were upgraded...so CCP don` treat us like we are dumb or smthin...we respect u for what have u achieved with this game and we would like the same respect in return...

There is a log, when FA had the shields knocked down in TPAR and such thats what the GM claimed. Also from petitions filed about some of these things the GM's have replied saying things like 'Logs show the shield was 90% before DT.'; even though the shields were at about 10%.

i petitioned the problem and got the reply the stations shields were at 99% b4 DT yet i was there before dt and the shields were at 60% max i took if farher and a senior GM acknowledged it ws a problem and they were lookin into it, now this isnt about takin sides with one or other its about gettin probs sortd maybe a xetic if holdin corp director can confirm the status of the shields in 68ft-6 before the DT?

Hello everyone,
I'd like to address some of the points raised in this thread. I apologize for not being able to answer all the questions, but we're backed up and I need to be answering emails right now.
1. What happened to the stations was a bug, a nasty one and as always, an unexpected one. When confronted with a game breaking bug involving this many players and resources, we can't go taking things from people without being very sure of what happened.
In these particular cases, as with the other POS cases we have recently had to contend with, mostly due to emergency downtimes, we attempted to compensate fairly all involved, although of course we are not able to return their lost time and effort. We will try to replace estimated ammo costs and possibly other losses related to the attack operation.
If you believe you are eligible for such compensation, please elect one member of your corporation or alliance to contact us, with as many relevant details handy as possible. Mass petition campaigns will only slow things down for everyone and can actually be harmful to the investigation they are meant to provoke, so I advise against those.
2. The log situation. Many of you have expressed disbelief in the fact that we one week claimed to have no logs and the next week we have them. Well, we are always pushing for better logs, but this is not even a case of a new log being added. This is directly attributable to the EVEmail bug, recently fixed, as documented in the patch notes:

Yep, our much discussed new log is in these mails. We can hardly be expected not to use the tools we have at our disposal, simply because we didn't have them before. In this instance, the mails allowed to to verify that something is definitely wrong and hopefully this will lead to a fix in the near future, although I must stress that this will not happen overnight.
3. Biased GMs? I hope that however much you disagree with our actions, we can drop accusations of bias and favouritism in the way they have been presented in this thread. If you have a complaint about a GM, by all means send us a mail. I guarantee you'll receive an answer, just like I guarantee that baseless accusations will be dismissed.
I understand that we are under scrutiny and I welcome that. All GMs have access to logs on each other and of course CCP has access to them too and can monitor our every move. There's a whole menu devoted to crossreferencing GMs and their actions and it works very well. A crooked GM wouldn't last a week here.
Anyone caught abusing their position in this department risks an instant dismissal. And why would anyone risk a dismissal from his job and livelyhood for something as trivial as cheating your way to success in EVE?
4. Finally, on the subject of why we do not explain ourselves and our motives in public more often:
The problem here is partly that we do not want to get drawn into long flame wars on each and every unpopular decision we make. Instead, we try to explain our position and our reasoning to the individual player. We try to treat each new case with the same respect and we look into all claims, how outrageusly false they appear to be and sometimes are.
Inevitably, not all players will agree with our decisions, but as long as the decision is considered in accordance with our policies, sometimes after several GMs have given their opinion and looked for solutions, it will stand. We can't please everyone all of the time, but that doesn't mean we don't try.

Thanks for your reply. Please may I ask that you monitor the shields on the stations as closely as possible in the future. Further incidents of enemy shields being instantly restored because of a downtime, destroying hours of our work are not acceptable to us and as such a large number of people are reconsidering their subscriptions.
So as I ask - please will you closely monitor the shields on PCS and ensure that shields are NOT instantly restored after reboots, etcetera.

Magical shield lowering over a regular DT. The response we got from a GM was "no logs cant be verified" sort of thing. This was after the EVE Mails were back in game obviously, as the Eve Mails were what we were basing our annoyance on!
So basically, we lost 50% of the stations shields to DT, and the GM made a mistake. I can live with that, as long as if it happens again we don't get the same response. Time to let them all know what the response should be
