I jumped all the way to Jita yesterday with no problems then I get into the system and the client goes buggy. I couldn't warp to anywhere nor could I right click to move anywhere. So i restarted the client and now the screen goes black. I can hear the sounds of ships warping and can hit esc to get the settings menu but that is all. It is only happening to this toon and not my other accounts or characters. I cleared the mail cache and all the cache, but nothing has worked. Any thoughts? |

Same issue on my main, my alt works fine. My main logged off in space, my alt in station. Black screen while logging in. I did see I had an new evemail though...so some stuff gets loaded properly |

Alt in perimeter crashed and now has black screen (but i see the popups)
Main doesnt have any chat channels and local is a dead window..

same except im able to log into the game and see my character except when i undocked there wasnt space it was black so i had to redock |

After randomly changing my graphics settings for 10 mins i finally managed to get the graphics back. |

Same problem, having it on all my toons logged uit in null, the high sec ones somehow are able to get a picture :/]

I too have black screen when logging off.. It will go "normal" after some time though..
It happens when I have logged off in space (both with and without safe log-off), havn't tried logging in a station.

Nice bug. No access to any of my main accounts.
Eight accounts all in a WH have black screens. All my alts on the same accounts work perfectly.

Same issue here after patch. Logging into black screen. ESC menu works, that's it. ATI HD 5470.

Ok, I tryed the same thing and after about 30sec. or so everything loaded up fine. All the chat windows are lagged to hell still. |

I too am experiencing this bug.
I added the new skills to my skill queue....switched from `local` to `corp` chat windows and noticed `corp` member list wasn't showing up immediately. Strange. I couldn't switch back to `local` chat either. So I cleared my cache, and restarted the client.
Still no dice. So I undocked and had a black screen. The Neo Com was working so I redocked.

Undocking for Amarr resulted in a black visual screen. Overview worked however, so I was able to fly around literally blind.
After 30 seconds or so screen grid loaded with no further problems.
War doesn't determine who is right, only who is left.

Having the same problem on characters which are not docked. It does go away after about 3-5 minutes which is a huge problem.

Yep..my stuff finally loaded. What's funny is I switched back rom `local` chat then back to `corp` chat...and now I'm in the same place waiting for `corp` member list to load and can no longer switch between chat channels.
Something with retrieving the member list of chat rooms is freezing the other visual elements of the interface.

After I log on, I hear the warp activation, and I can hear the POS shields. Nothing on the UI, and after a few minutes all accounts are disconnected from the server. |

I am having the same issue as well, GTX 580 running Nvidia 310.54
Stations load fine, but the chat windows are buggy, but as soon as I undock, space is all black.
Looks like there are new nvidia drivers out, will update and report back. |

Instead of closing the client, I logged off to switch to another pilot in high sec. He was able to undock and space loaded. So I switch back to my main and undock and it worked. |

Same here Black screen when logging in I can't see anything in the game until after 5 minutes. The chat channels take a lot longer to load up.
i don't understand the test server was fine everything ran ok. Today Eve is unplayable.

I have the same problem, using an i7 and GT 540M.
Once every 5 or so attempts, I will manage to log in successfully, but the client simply drops me after about 30 seconds.
I've checked to see if my WiFi router was the problem, but it seems ok. I can use it to stream 720p videos, as well as play World of Tanks and Planetside 2 without any problems, at peak times too.
Can't be anything on my end if everyone else is having the same problem too. EVE was working fine for me before the patch. Tried the repair tool, and cleared the cache. Neither worked. |

I got the same problem on this account this morning
After undocking during a playing session, I had no shield/armor/structure display (or the icons on either side). Right clicking brought up no menus, I tried logging off. That is when I got the black screen. Shutdown EvE and re-logged still nothing, deleted the cache this gave me sound 'warp drive engaged' but still a black screen.
Next I tried the repair tool, got an error on start-up (I didn't read the log  ), so then I couldn't log on at all.
Uninstalled EvE and downloaded/re-installed the client, no change.
Created a new character on this account and all appears as it should do but no change on this character.
I guess it must be a corrupted file/data attached to this character, raised a petition and fingers crossed |

Just ran into same problem.
Made a few tests and - character in space logging into "full black screen" from two different PCs, character in station (same account) - logging in just fine, just laggy. |

Different Resolutions even on the Desktop
Login from another PC
----nothing worked----
But making a complete new Character and playing works totally FINE !
So it CANT BE a Problem from my side...and now i am stuck and can-Št mine to get my daily ISK Income :D
Really annoying after 16Days of ADDICTION !!!
I hope my Support Ticket helps me out because there are 9Hours to go until the Server restarts.... |

Got the same issue. Main left the station, I went to dock back in, but found that right clicking any object no longer worked. Then I noticed my ships health, mod, scanner, etc display was missing. I messed around with it and decided to relog, only to come to this black screen. Only the escape button displays anything, and no amount of time seems to fix it. My alt, still on the station worked fine. I undocked and then docked back without a hitch. Luckily I am not missing out on too much, or too vulnerable. However, it is annoying to see so many people with same problem, but the only 'official' fix I found was from a 2009 thread with an old patch update.
Maybe it will get fixed during the server maintenance. Ill post something if it does. Otherwise, Im really hopin it goes away by tomorrow, or a fix can be found. Still searching the webs and forums. |

DC'd in space this morning, now having the same problem. I tried making an alt, and he can fly around in space just fine, but the main still doesn't work. It's too dangerous where I am to hang around and see if it clears up. I filed a petition, hopefully there is a solution. |

Bump from me.
I have the exact same issue. Selected a gate on overview, but it didn't show on selected items. Rightclick in space didn't give me a warpto or jump. So I rebooted my client and now this character gets a black screen after logging in. The other character on the account still works fine. Currently watching that black screen as some people reported it loaded after a while. |
