The new 'OMGWTFBBQ Group' The Emperor's Hoplites (ticker name MTEH) have decided to keep up with the politics of today by joining in the war on terror.
The carebear menace is very real, and a great threat to the good citizens of eve. MTEH have taken up the struggle against this evil foe with great excitment.
The Crusade against Evil has begun my friends.
The first groups declared Enemies of the State of Lonetrek were a corporation named 'empowerment'. The name says it all really. They seeked to over throw the good people of Lonetrek by decimating all roids in the area. Upon a survey 48 hours before the war, it was experienced first hand as fellow miners were swept aside in their quest for veldspar.
War was declared, but after numerous talks the carebear scum seemed undetered and showed their battleship force throughout the system of Elonaya. However, as the war was declared official by CONCORD, their fleets dissapeared. Only an apoc and a kestral were cleansed of carebear filth during the first 12 hours of the crusade.
They continued to hide out in their HQ station for 3 days often with at least 5v1 odds....
During these 3 days MTEH were busy gathering inteligence upon another corporation, 'Under Heavy Fire'. Their name seems appropriate for the power and anger we would bring down upon them. Caldari ship specialists, it was no concern however, i prepared myself inside their HQ system of Motsu in waiting for the war to be declared official. Upon legal war action however they did not seem to show the courage to engage my lone battleship (8 in local). I decided to make tracks back to elonaya to engage empowerment once again, but upon arrival i found them in nonni waiting for me, and UHF following up behind. This was suprising, but good nonetheless. I docked in MTEH HQ and brought out an interceptor to gather intelligence for the new comrades of mine waiting in Jita.
This action prooved successful after numerous skirmishes with the Carebear Coalition (CC) support ships, i docked again and made ready my battleship as my comrades were drawing near...
Upon undocking there was a hostile Scorpion, raven, a battlecruiser, 2 thoraxes and numerous frigates, there were more enemies in local but they were not relevant. We engaged.
As i activated my guns to bring holy and rightious death upon the carebear aggressors, CONCORD opened up a hail of shells that impacted upon my ship causing great damage.
I was destroyed.
Concords betrayal is disgusting, clearly acting bias towards the carebear menace.
My corp mates and i carry out what we think is a public service to aid the citizens of eve in their struggle against this immense threat. but Concord seem to enjoy hampering our efforts.
I hope Concord reimburse my ship loss and all equipment, insurance, the lot. So i may return to full strength to lead the crusade against the largest menace of this world.

Concord the bastards, we had a fleet battle against them once, lost 6-8 battleships in yulai :(

I am at war with the ebil Concord as well, but it has not been going good they seem to show up at the most inoportune times just as im trying to impress an enemy with my fighting prowess. Against myself I argued whether I would dignify the admittedly imaginative author of the origin post of this topic. In the end, I felt the ignorance of the post deserved addressing and felt that I must give my view.
Th simple fact is that Empowerment is a corporation about production, training and good times. I have yet to understand the "swept aside" comment of the fictional author Max suicide. We mine one out of eight or more belts in a .7 system and at any given time leaving 7+ more for our neighbors...can you explain "swept aside" max?
Either ignorant way you choose to spend your free time...the simplicity of the truth facilitates an easy understanding of the situation. A rival apoc mining group thought it worth the $2,000,000 war declaration to get a small yet irritating corp out of their way, you used the opportunity to enjoy your first mercenary client and hope to satisfy, and we are wasting all these good peeps time who are reading this...
Declare war on any number of non-mining corps in 0.0 Max if that is what you wish... you were hired to do a cheap piece of pvp work on a non-pvp corp because you like the rush but have not the skill to hack it in low security.
We at Empowerment will do our best to provide you with entertainment and to help with your marketing to future mercenary clients by posting the real numbers.

Max and company go after industrial/production corps because they tend to be "easy" targets. But of course you probably know this already. Heaven forbit they actually fight someone who they know can put up a fight. Give them a bloody nose and they will leave you alone, just like all bully types. Best of luck guys.

And for our first meaningful thing to bring to Eve as a corp, we are going to shoot miners...
The emperor used legionaries and not hoplites btw, that was the Greeks.

For a mercenary corp that hates miners so much I must say that I am surprised that you were hired by one to perform your mercenary work... Badboy did you happen to read the origin post of this section by your boss Max? You guys are defending the rights of a mining corporation... so do you or don't you hate miners?
Are you thinking at all when you type? You declare war to defend a 24/7 macro mining corporation then espouse the believe that miners are to be smoked.... no logic there huh? Sounds like your beliefs are convenient and contrived my unintelligent fellow eve player... go read a book :)

once again i found myself having to explain everything to people i should just spit on tbh.
i dont consider losses to bugs to be losses when ccp will replace is ASAP im sure.
Secondly, if u didnt read the post right? and my old one in another section of the forums, i am going on a crusade to destroy carebears...so declaring someone like ATUK wouldnt exactly be correct would it?

FYI, we declared war on the hiring corporation :)(doesn't help much with future business does it? Anyone considering to hire your services in the future may end up in combat, exactly what they were attemping to avoid with isk...

Oh, I certainly know my foe. And I declared war on the corporation you indicated by your smack. My once peaceful, occasional foray into pvp, corporation has decided to go all pvp. We will suck no doubt, but isnt that how we all start? You will be our first passion. It is amazing how fast the blood runs when one finds a target as juicy as you. You are important to us Max.
