I am I Legionnaire, Sulei himself can confirm this. I've sold off that character so don't contact him in regards to the event.
I'll be donating 100 of each of the following, Algos, Corax, Talwar, Coercer, Thrasher, Catalyst, Rifter, Incursus, and Merlin. The idea being that you can get a free hull and ship in your own mods in a cloaky hauler.
Alternatively, once the system is announced I can haul in mods for you.
I'll also be stocking the system with commonly used items at Jita prices. |

1. What does "no link alts allowed" mean? Are you referring to gang links / fleet boosters? 2. How do you enforce the rules? Some, such as no warping to safe spots, seem difficult or impossible to enforce. 3. How do you prevent party crashing fleets from coming in and cherry picking, or other wise attempting to interfere? 4. Where will the location be posted? It's less than 48 hours as I write this.
Thanks, and look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!
1.) Yes. 2.) More than likely you will become uneligible for prizes/ probed out and exploded by the Tuskers police 3.) See above, last time this wasn't really an issue 4.) look below
In other news, ships are being transferred to the Tuskers, looks like I'll be donating roughly 800 of them. I will also be seeding the market with commonly used T2 modules and T1 rigs at Jita prices for contestants' convenience. |

A+ event Sulei
I get the feeling many of the younger participants in this thread don't appreciate how ridiculous running logistics for this event must have been. Concerning the rules violations, welcome to the sandbox. The Tuskers tried to provide a somewhat controlled environment for everyone to have fun in ,but this is lowsec. Dishonorable behavior should be expected.
Either way, I hope everyone had fun and that some of Eve's newer members have become interested in pvp. |

A) Very small, so everything is in d-scan range (makes it easy to get fights as well as spot boosting alts) B) Is very close to low/high sec. C) Entrance is not camped D) Has no major entities living in that system
Also, bombs + bubbles make null sec very dodgy to hold frigate FFAs in.
Maybe time to move up to cruisers?
Not to put foot potentially to mouth, but moving this up to cruisers would be a gigantic cluster. All told I spent roughly 5billion ISK on hulls, prize money, and the two event ships. Bumping this event up to cruisers would easily increase costs five-fold if not more. This doesn't even take into account how much more of a pain the logistics would be.
The one suggestion I would make to Sulei and co is to show what ship setups will be available to people, and letting them sign up for batches of five or so in a ship. Then corp contracting the stuff to people on the day of, this should significantly cut down on the volume of trades that has to happen and would leave you with less leftover ships that no one wanted. |

Quote:As for the rest of your rant, my word means something in this game, if yours doesn't, that's up to you.
The fact that these FFAs are even being held is a testament to Sulei's word. He was handed thirteen billion ISK and asked to make something happen. Seriously, how many people in this game can you trust with that kind of ISK?
