The unavoidable tragedy happened aboard my ship today at about 21:20. As my crew gathered in the assembly hall for socializing during some down time the airlocks suddenly had a fault and flew open. This happened so suddenly that none of my crew had a chance to escape. I regret to inform the friend and family of ny heroic crew of such a catastrophic tragedy. Seventy men and women lost their lives today due to a technical malfunction. The fact that you are making this about anything other than the victims is the biggest tragedy here. Please learn to be kind to your fellow man. As for the incident. The airlocks to the cargo bays failed catastrophically in the Mackinaw today. These airlocks were maintained by Jafar Joazim and Caldafraz Giian, two superb engineers who's lives were cut short by an error that could have been easily averted if only they had been at their post instead of attending a social affair. The airlocks were not under the control of the capsuleer, just to clarify any misconceptions that may be held by the general public. The airlocks are controlled by the crew and only the crew. While I am sad to see my accomplished crew pass, I am excited to see the new crew come on board. In conclusion, Today's tragedy should be taking as a warning to all crewmen of all ships to stay on the ready and be able to correct problems and errors that may occur at a moment's notice. The rest had the time it takes for 5 Dominix with Neutron Blasters at optimal range with T2 heavy drones to melt an Abbaddon with no fitting. It was at least 10 seconds, lock on included.
