Edited by: Hulemand on 06/06/2005 19:55:33 As an Logistic pilot I would like to say I really like the new changes they have gotten, I just hope they will stay :)
It really brings them more than I hoped |

Now you have peeked my intrest and I am at work and can't check anything. Why would it make a dream tackler?

Because then you have 5 mid slots, 80m signature, uber native resists with ability to mount 1600 plates and couple of extra hards you have a ship that can not "tackle" but nail any ship to the place and hold it for very long time before he can kill you.
At the same time you can put 4 multies and jam stuff like there is no tomorrow. Not to mention some crazy bonuses to tracking links. But who needs tracking links then you can fit 3 scramblers and a web with mwd?

You know, if it decides to be good at that, good for it. It needed SOME purpose, and this is better than a waste of ISK. ---

The logistic bonus isn't bad either, with best remote armor repairs you can give out 1248 armor every 8 sec at 51 km

Sadly the last mirror for the test server was when my account was deactivated so I can't log on to test myself. Any chance somebody could post screenies/info of the logistic cruiser changes?
Thanks

So what's the verdict? Who thinks the changes that have been made to logistic cruisers will be enough to make people actually want to buy and fly these ships?
Flying these ships requires VERY high skills, when a fleet is assembled I would rather have all my highly skilled pilots assigned to offensive roles. IMO support should be a role that can be filled by the less experienced fleet pilots, why are the skills to fly the logistics so outrageously high!? |

Depends on actual prices. If I could buy a logistic for say 20mil that would be very good addition to the fleet. But if we are looking at HAC level prices - no way.
Not effective.
