Ive never seen people so angry at a certain style of gameplay. You are but a handful (the order) and eve is a very very big place. While i applaud your creation of content, I also seem to be detecting tears. Tears of another sort. The kind that are usually unavailable on the market. Griefer Tears.
So far it would seem as if James 317 and his crew have made more posts than the miners they bump. They then go about mashing at the keyboard till there fingers are nubs and make crazy posts on the forums calling for ganks. You do know why the ganking stopped right? and why you guys have moved to bumping?
I dont know if this is an intended feature of your created content, or just frustration that what you are trying to do is not going as planned. But i dont like it, James needs to get a grip on his "agents" cause from where i stand. He is no leader, Because a leader wouldn't let his agents post this mess on the forums.

So no, they are not saving anyone from anything except a heavy wallet.

This Bumping of Miners has been in effect for years, it's just that now since there;s a movement behind it do people take notice.
Noobs, beginner's, brand new players should be left along in regards to ganks as they are the future of this game and ganker, Miner, Pirate, Merc, Trader, etc have at least two things in common, we play Eve and we would rather not see it die. |

Firstly, they are not exploiting a game mechanic. Bumping is perfectly legal.
Secondly, the entire miner bumping is there to extort ISK from miners. Whatever is posted on their site is complete drivel and anybody that believes what is written is a moron. Most of the supporters are faceless NPC alts, to terrified of their own shadows and therefore will never reveal their main.
If mining is such a big problem to them then they need unzip their balls and go on the offensive, whether it be wars or suicides. Actions speak louder than words.
As for the OP. Don't be an idiot. Gank people all you want, but don't start organizing a concerted effort against new players alone. They have noway to counter or deal with suicides at their SP level. People don't seem to realize that if new players are targeted like this on mass the heavy hand of CCP might be brought to bear once again like they did by adding the Sisters EPIC ARC to the list of safe zones.
Focus your efforts on established industrial players make them work for what they are trying to do. A newbie is mining for himself to make isk to fund his gameplay. Cut that off and he will leave. Suiciding an established corp of older members will have a bigger impact on industry if that is what your truly looking for.
and now thirdly... it seems a lot of people believe that we pay way to little for our combat ships. So why not drive prices up by killing miners. Your mentality in this regard is astonishing... since it is the same people that wants miners dead that complain of about ship prices.

Your entire "movement" goes too far. Here's a new player's perspective:
I've only been around a couple of weeks. It doesn't take anyone long to figure out what you minerbumpers are really all about. I have to agree with pretty much every one else. You're no different than lowbie gankers in any other MMO. Just a bunch of griefers who can't hack it in real PvP, so you go after newbies.
I'll let you in on a little secret that took me all of 2 days of playtime to figure out. Most AFK miners are cash cow alts. But then again, these aren't your real targets anyway. Any derp who can lock a target can blow an AFK miner out of the sky. No, your real targets are the newbie miners who worked their asses off for their first mining barge and are afraid to lose it to you idiots. Those are the players you troll in local chat with your mindless drivel and extort mining permits from. Those are the real tears you feed on, not the AFKers.
After reading multiple threads about your antics, it's clear that no one else gives a crap about your manifesto except your fellow wannabes. I can appreciate corporate raiders, thieves, and liars. But you minerbumpers are a breed all your own. |

Picking on noobies is bad umkay, by all means recruit them and show them the fun that can be had in PvP, but also show them the PvE side and how it's much more fun running as a team rather than solo (a fault with a lot of hisec corps, everybody does their own thing, no fleet PvE)
Show them the paths, let them make their own choice, then gank them when they have an exhumer (and their friends) if they chose mining.
Always bet on stupid, CCP can't patch stupid. The measure of success in Eve is not monetary worth, it's how effectively you can bend others to your will. |

While the New Order of Highsec is always encouraging new ideas for emergent gameplay this one is bad in its emphasis. The New Halaima Code of Conduct does not distinguish new players as valid targets of the Agents and Knights of the New Order. The New Order is, in fact, unconcerned about how old a player is. We are only concerned with compliant and non-compliant.
That said, the New Order often passes on ganking new players once they are scouted. All miners who have Retrievers, Mackinaws and Hulks are old enough to understand what The Code requires of them. Their choice to not follow it is intentional. But sometimes, a truly new player in an asteroid belt mining veldspar.... well, the New Order is merciful too.
However, the rest are fair targets. The posters above who accuse us of targeting newbies, of being somehow afraid of something veteran miners can do to us, of not being what we say we are, are just trying to make themselves feel better about their total helplessness at stopping us. A look through our killboard shows numerous, multi-year players. Why just this weekend we killed the the CEO of AFK Industries. Let that name sink in a bit...
So, no to kiling the new players. They should be listening to what we say as their time of safety will be ending eventually and the Knights will come calling. If they see the words " www.minerbumping.com " in local they need to read and learn because it IS a threat to all non compliant highsec miners, afk, botter or just angry rebel.
Ignoring us is not an option.
Highsec is worth fighting for.

A look through your killboard shows numerous kills against non-combative targets. Nothing more. This is your claim to fame? You pride yourselves on suicide ganking AFKers, miners, and industrial ships...and wonder why no one takes you seriously. |

Agreed. It's acceptable to target a player who happens to be. It is not a good idea to target a player because he is new.

You are pointing out that killing miners results in higher ship prices, but the same can be said of bots. Low ship price is not at the top of everyone's list of priorities. |

I have much more respect for a newer player than the likes of you. They at least can show a willingness to ease into PVP later on or better yet, provide me with the modules I need to keep my ships fitted and working. Who knows? Maybe that new player will stray into low sec in a Drake or something else eager to explore the harsh realities of this universe.
But that will all be for nothing if all you do is prey upon the ignorant. They probably don't even know what a Battlecruiser IS let.

No, not "kind of like" that.
The entitlement of petition-happy miners is unreasonable, because they do not understand what it means to play in a multiplayer 'sandbox' environment - you can try to play the way you like, and others can try to interrupt your play. It's a difficult idea to wrap one's mind around, I know. |
