Unfortuneatly the market history bug prevents us from giving updates.
When you look at the history tables, you'll see a lot of items don't have any transactions listed in the last few weeks. As long as this bug isn't fixed, it is impossible to give accurate average prices.

Feronia, when Magma was running the index were you using a simple moving average?
One of these days I'll get around to testing the effectiveness of different models on the mineral markets... frankly I just dream of price history data exports, would make things much easier and allow the use of much more advanced forecasting methods.

We used to give the weighted average of all transactions during the last 5 days in the 7 biggest regions.
