Longest 1v1 PVP Battle?

infused	Posted - 2005.06.19 21:13:00 - [1] I was in a Maller the other day fighting a Omen. I was no prepared for PVP and had PVE mods fitted to my ship. I took this guy on, we both got down to armor and omg, after that it was the waiting game. I had a T2 armor repair and no harders or plates at all and I managed to keep up with his attack. Not sure when he had, I was using 4xHeavy Beam Lasers with Mutli Frequency crystals and it took around a minute or two to grind him down and finally kill him. So what is your longest battle? I was in a sacrilege and warped in on a Brutix, and disrupted him, intent on ransoming him. I blast his shields off and he beats off mine in a couple of minutes or so of very close range combat (like under 2500m). He hits pretty hard, but I can armor tank the damage. I was about to convo him, and ransom him, as his friend in a Cyclone warps in. I get scrambled, and they unleash drones, blasters, and autocannons on me as well as a medium nos or two. I have a medium nos on the Brutix and seem to be tanking them. I open fire again on the Brutix, who starts to shield tank and move away from me, my top speed is faster than his, so he's not going to get out of my disruptor range in a hurry. I set an apporach course to him, and open up on him, with pulses and two medium NOS. He loses the cap for his shield tank fast, and gets deep into armor. Meanwhile the cyclone webs me to allow his Brutix friend to get out of my nos and disruptor range, he succeeds in getting out of range of my nos, and my pulses, and starts to shield tank again with about 30% armor left. I get out of range of the webber on the cyclone with a couple of bursts from the MWD I have fitted, then offline it to save on the cap penalty. This brings me back into NOS range of the Brutix, who I NOS the hell out of again, and eventually kill. As I realise that the Brutix is dying I turn to approach the Cyclone, who immediatley warps off as his compadre explodes. Probably the most fun fight I've had in a while, as it involved some good thinking, and sweet team tactics on their part. Chat in local was civil afterwards, and they were genuinley a pair of nice guys... Got the whole thing on fraps too... which was nice... WWW.SNIGG.CJB.NET

Bagdh Dearg	Posted - 2005.06.19 21:40:00 - [5] My Longest battle was a 2v2 battle: Myself and a Friend in a Harpy and Rupture(I was in the Harpy he was in the Rupture) we were warping through some belts in a 0.3 space when we came upon a belt with two Minmatar Inties in it. For about 30 seconds we look at each other when the two inties swarm towards me and Webb and Scramble me.Im setup with 4 125mm's and a Stan. Missile launcher and am unable to hit them with anything but a single kinetic Light missile,however I have a Gistii A-Type and a full Harpy tank so without the Guns I have a Net Gain in Cap Running a Hardener and the shield. So we sit there for about 10minutes,they are picking away at me with Autocannons,Im tanking it well and my Wingmate who is setup for hitting Cruisers attempts to hit them with Heavy Missiles and 720mm's and not succedding however Im in Corp chat and about 5 of my Corpmates are on there way to assist me and when the first one arrives the two of them quickly Warp off. Twas alot of fun as my nearly 100mill Frig. is my Pride and joy and I wasnt gonna let it die without a fight but I have to say i talked to the lads in Local and the one thing they had to say was that when going up against a Harpy that they need to bring more Firepower. _______________________________________________ An tÚ nach bhfuil lßidir nÝ folßir d¾ bheith glic -He who is not strong must be crafty

It was the end of our last contract against FA. Hygelac and Psycorabbit played tag with this guy for about seven or eight minutes from gate to gate while the rest of us raced to the scene. As we got to the gate, the guy managed to jump away into Kehour... right into my lap. Eri jumped through too quick into the next system so I was all alone with this guy for about 20-30 seconds. I got him scrambled and webbed and laughed like a maniac as his shields vanished and his armor began to vaporize due to my blasters. Then I noticed I had like almost no cap because the guy was running four or five heavy NOS and fourteen drones were trying to eat my 100m ISK ship!! I turned off the guns and kept just my scrambler and hardeners running as Hinik showed up and resumed the act of melting this guy's hull. By now, the others had jumped back in and were on the guy so I warped out with not even enough cap to get to a nearby moon and 27% armor! All in all, one of the most intense fights I'd had in a while. Hygelac and Wabbit have balls of steel for playing with this guy in thier small ships and a big thanks to Hinik for showing up when he did to put the target down. It didn't actually last that long, but it sure as hell felt like forever waiting for someone else to come scramble the guy! - T2 Weapons Testing in progress! Volunteer today!

Saw parts of that battle in your "Eve-Trailer 2" I think, looked like alot of fun

We found a NORAD apoc on his way to a gate, and warp scrambled and webbed him with 2 inty's and me in my Incursus. After a minute or so our uber damage dealer scorpion () warps in, and the four of us start laying down some heavy fire on his armour tank. As most people know, the damage output of a scorp is pitiful at best, and it took us a full 12 minutes to finally break him. MooKids	Posted - 2005.06.20 04:37:00 - [16] 1 vs 1 in Assault Ships. We decided to see who was better, me fighting a corpmate, Falzone. We even invited the corp to watch. I was in my Harpy and Falzone was in his Amarr one, forgot the name. We started shooting at each other with our respective tanks. During the battle, I reveal my secret that I have a cap booster onboard, giving me the advantage for longer lasting tanks! Then Falzone says he has one as well . So it goes back and forth until finally Falzone calls it off as he loses his tank and is about to take some real damage. Was real close too as I almost lost my tank as well. Checking the logs afterwards, we were fighting for 12 minutes. Rather interesting actually. -------------------------------- CCP can patch away bugs, but they can't patch away stupidity.

I think the battle lasted about 3 minutes, or maybe it just seemed like it. I ran out of cap, and so did he, as I used 1 heavy nos on him. Was a pretty silly situation, continously hammering the F keys hoping there'd be cap enough to fire at least some of the guns. Some of you may have heard of this anyway, since he posted about it before. I am in a geddon travelling somewhere, with 7 WCS, 1 med rep II, 6 or 7 megabeams and probably capchargers in mid. He was upon me in a wolf. Of course, my beams weren't having any luck at 5km, so the angry bees were let loose! It was quite interesting to see whose armour was going down faster, but in the end it looked like he was tanking my drones better than I his artillery. I called the attack dogs back and suddenly had to leave the computer, so it was off to a planet to log. He then posted a damning report about how hired goon logged his bs when confronted with a frig. His topic was deleted but not before dealing a wrecking hit to my reputation for omgnoonecares damage ------------ We come in peace. And tanks.

We both where nearly out of ammo Then there are the 1vs1's where both knew it wasn't going anywhere (both tanksetups) which where broken of. Why dont we all f1f2f3 eachother?

Me - Holding scorp Sp0ck - Jamming scorp vs 3 CA scorps Sp0ck laid down excellent jamming support keepnig all 3 off me while i moved from 1 to 1 killing them in all. Battle lasted a good 10mins, with me firing my last torps at the last scorp, having about 20 torps left as the third scorp went down lol. I miss those days. Cartiff, CEO Euphoria Released NBSI 4TW

Managed to delay em long enough for the main gang to get away to do thier business elsewhere in the region with more important matters needing attention. Whole thing lasted about 5- 10 minutes and I bugged out with 50% armor.
