i know it is somewhere outthere, but i can not find it with this forum-system:
can anyone either point me to the right thread? or give me the formular to calculate the Zerotime PL Researchlevel for a Blueprint?
thx -- my current auctions |

I can give the new equation for determining the factory batch time.
{Manufacturing Time} = {Base Manufacturing Time} * (1 - (0.2 * ({Productivity Level} / ({Productivity Level} + 1))))
{Factory Time} = int({Manufacturing Time} * (1 - ({Industry Skill Level} * 0.04)))
A few graphs to show percentage of time saved from productivity research...
Productivity level 0 to 100 Productivity level 0 to 10 Productivity level 0 to 20
I haven't tried to come up with a zerotime productivity research level yet, but I am sure someone will.

The formula you quote is asymptotic, therefore, you could never get production time down to zero. (I think that's what you meant, anyway....)
I can't be bothered to work it out offhand, but I'd guess that the difference between PE 100 and PE 10,000 would only be a matter of seconds out of a three hour building time. And it'd get worse and worse the further you went.

I didn't say that very well did I?
Productivity research can not reduce the time to zero. I will make up a spreadsheet that will determine the productivity level at which you can not save anymore time.
But looking at the graphs I did a while back it looks as if you wouldn't want to go above PL 15.

Ahh ... ok, now I see what you meant. :) And yeah, PL 15 is about as far as it's ever worth going, unless you're totally obsessive.

thx for your help, in the patch notes it was writen you could safe 25% from production time.
but i think PL 15 will really do for now. -- my current auctions |
