Edited by: sableye on 25/06/2005 15:37:26 5% to agility (inertia?) per level thats all I know but my guess is spacheship command level 5 for pre-skills.

And its a rank 5 skill, so to get into a Dread will take best part of a month, even with BS5.

dreadnoughts are highly specialiced ships ment to act literly as a flying siege engine.. they are ment to destroy POS's bombard stations in it's deployed mode.. when in normal mode it can act as a anti BS vessal.

So now with all agility skills maxed out you can have a 60% reduction in agility?
Thats pretty sweet. Imagine adding 5-6 nanofibs to your ship, and viola, you have a shuttle.

ah but [REDUCTION IN INERTIA]=[INCREASE IN AGILITY]=[more turny and acceleraty better mkay]
so yup. i dont plan to train for dreadnoughts but ill be taking this baby to 4 asap. -------------

Sweet. I'm ignoring Dreads at the moment, but this thing will get some serious training time from me pronto

It's confirmed actually.
Space Ship Command (5)* -> Advanced Space Ship Command (5) -> Capital Ships Capital Ships (1) + Racial Battleship (5) = Dreadnought (1).
* Current Sisi Stats have Space Ship Command 1 as requirement for Advanced Command, but you can be sure it'll be Space Ship Command 5 when TQ is patched.

It'll behave exactly the same since the skill only affects ships that require the advanced spaceship skill to fly. -

What he said. Here is the exact wording on the skill:
The advanced operation of spaceships. Grants a 5% Bonus to agility of ships requiring advanced spaceship command per level

So it's the same as advanced gunnery skills.

In a sence yes it is. But TBH they shoulda uppped the dread agility base value given cant fly it unless got l5 in this (two skills new to use a ship :/) and made it like 1% or something to all ships allowing people to specialise and deverse skills but without just training two long skills purely to fly a dreadnaught.
Advance ME/PE research skills for T2 would of been of more use than this skills.
As for the patch, what went wrong CCP everything you normaly do didn;t happen pretty much. Most impressed, take a very well deserved pat on the back as I feel that you have at last imbraced a level of QA at last :)))))).

afaik the skill only hasa n effect on ships that require the skill
ie. dont trainit for your interceptors <->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->-<->

This is one of the new skills I was really looking forward too...
Such a shame it only gives that extra 5% to ships which specifically require it and so is actually gonna be trained by virtually no one.
I don't see why it can't work similar to Advanced Weapon Upgrades, giving something like 2% per Lv to all ships...

It'll be more than 60% inertia reduction as the individual skills will stack like they do for mining and astrogeology. You get 10% for SC level 5, 25% for EM level 5 and 25% for ASC level 5. 1.1x1.25x1.25=1.71875
So nearly 72%. http://www.hyperoin-inquisition.com |

Yep... But not on Frigates, or Assault Ships, or Cruisers, or Interceptors, or Battleships, or Haulers... Etc... Since none of these require that skill.

It only gives the bonus to ships which require advanced spaceship command in their requirements.
In other words, it won't give any benefit to ships available prior to the patch.

An agility skill that only works on 8 ships. Seems like such a waste http://www.hyperoin-inquisition.com |

Just because there are only 8 ships that require it now, doesnt mean there wont be more added later.
