gallente drone spec will have an impact, but so will tracking and range. Ishtar Starfire: As a pure caldari pilot i feel that with the deployment of the new tier 3 battlecruisers you have given an unfair advantage to everyone except caldari pilots. an example would be like giving a fat kid a whole cake while the skinny kid has to watch and get nothing.

Remember that Garde IIs, being sentry drones, get benefits from Sentry Drone Interfacing (5% bonus damage per level). Day 0 advice for new players: Day 0 Advice for New Players |

Also remember that sentry drones have no "flight time" (they are stationary "guns") that delays their DPS application. They can get to work right after they have been deployed. Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

Very true. Sentry applied dps is much better than heavies. I try to carry a flight of both sentries and ogres in my drone boats, using mostly sentries and the ogs (or lights if its a pesky frigate) for anything the sentries' cant track. True! And when heavies draw 100% aggro (and they will draw 100% aggro without fail) they are pretty much doomed if they're more than fifteen meters away from your ship. Sentries, on the other hand, can be recalled instantly, which gives you at least a 50% of chance of bringing them in with at least 10% of their structure left after the first alpha strike on them. Not seen that yet with sentries. Haven't lost one. Heavies on the other hand were never meant to go out far. |
