I had no idea this has been around since 2008.
Kraftwerk and the Electronic Revolution
Incredible history of electronic music starting with Music Concrete and Amon Duul then leading into the 70's and beyond.
It is downloadable from the arrow on the bottom right......after you register on their site (it's easy and no hassle).
You do not need to install the Veoh Player. The file will play through Quicktime on your drive.
WARNING: It is exactly 3 Hours long. America is the only country to go from barbarism to decadence (and back to barbarism - KI) without civilization in between. - Oscar Wilde - 1870's |

You lost me at "Quicktime". Well, TBH, you lost me at "register on their site" but Quicktime will never darken my hard drives ever again. Vote for Malcanis for CSM8

I'm most sure it will play through your preferred media player. It's just an mpeg-4.
Also, your tone seems to blame me for your issues. Veoh 'lost' you, not me. America is the only country to go from barbarism to decadence (and back to barbarism - KI) without civilization in between. - Oscar Wilde - 1870's |

I'll check it out. They probably didn't forget the Moog and Wendy Carlos, but I hope they remembered Giorgio Moroder. He's known for his disco stuff with Debbie Harry and Donna Summer. But his old anonymous album "Einzelganger" had a lot of stuff that you'd recognized as later electronic tropes. If you help someone when they're in trouble, they will remember you when they're in trouble again.

It's all there. America is the only country to go from barbarism to decadence (and back to barbarism - KI) without civilization in between. - Oscar Wilde - 1870's |

Any mention of COUM Transmissions/Throbbing Gristle, or Cabaret Voltaire? "The nice thing about quotes is that they give us a nodding acquaintance with the originator which is often socially impressive." ~Kenneth Williams |

Indeed. ( but not COUM). America is the only country to go from barbarism to decadence (and back to barbarism - KI) without civilization in between. - Oscar Wilde - 1870's |

Excellent. I'll check it out for sure. "The nice thing about quotes is that they give us a nodding acquaintance with the originator which is often socially impressive." ~Kenneth Williams |
