The CVA is shocked and horrified to learn of the death of beloved Emperor Doriam II. This is an outrageous assault on the soverignty of the Amarr Empire and we shall be stepping up patrols in this time of crisis.
Our condolences are with the Imperial Household. Despite many predictions of doom at the time of his selection, Emperor Doriam II proved to be a wise and thoughtful leader who took decisive action as and when it was required. We salute him.
We hope that the wheels of succession move swiftly. The CVA will be organising a service of remembrance on behalf of the late Emperor. More details on this will be released shortly.

My first policy as the new emporer is to disband the rogue faction, CVA. As of this time it my order that Hardin and his lackeys stand down and accept the punishment handed too them by myself. |

Edited by: Bokudo on 06/07/2005 00:04:30 Wow a lot of people come out of their holes to poke fun at a dead man, a great man....
Though he died early he must have completed his task and that should bring a sense of joy even amongst the feeling of loss.
Oh and vengeance will come to the people who commited this act but then they already know this.

So I am truely sorry that my words hurt your bleeding heart sensablities. But in all honestly, if your so easily shaken by a mear few words. Then I doubt you could care less about JF and everything we have accomplished and only use our name as a cheap shot at the ribs.

And as for you Bukudo,
Since when is it an insult to say that a dead man is dead? Dont be fooled by CAIN's liberal and tear soaked sucking up to the Amarr. Majority of the Caldari are probally thinking,
A.) Feds and the Matari stopping the smuggling trade is more important
B.) Thinking of ways to make "I <3'ed the emperor" T-shirts and cups.

While you carry that corp name under yours, your words represent not only you but your corp. Don't try to use indivualism as a shield for callousness.

Bleeding heart? I doubt it. I'd have got a new clone if I had that sort of issue. Preferably a working, non gallente one. If you mean that your callous pronouncement has offended me, then yes, yes it did. You might not have noticed, but Huzzah Federation stands fro freedom of thought, freedom of expression, and freedom of existance. Given your corp and it's former alliances pronouncments, I had gottent eh impression thats what the Jericho Fraction and Star Fraction stood for. Oh, I don't go in for cheap shots. Torpedoes don't come that cheap.

Sorry, you appear to ahve mistaken Huzzah Federation for another alliance. Maybe you should try Suratores Veritas Alliance for that? Religion or atheism, it's all your own choice in our space. And we don't look down on someone for following a belief structure we don't adhere too.

Are you thinking what were thinking? No, I'm actually using my brain. I case you hadn't noticed, all hell is breaking loose. Time to pick a side. I picked Huzzah Federation, and I know which team we are batting with. How about you guys? I'm also more concerned with who will be the successor, as House Sarum is in turmoil, and rumours are that te Khanid Kingdom might make a re appearance. Oh yeah, the Gallente Federation is still trying to hold an election. If that was Caldari Corporation, the Chief Executive Panel would have had the board sacked for gross incompetence.

*The Cosmopolite begins to recount an ancient fable...*
Once upon a time, a powerful King called his wisest counsellors to him and set them a challenge.
"Make for me a motto that will console me in the depths of despair and disaster, yet caution me in the heights of triumph."
The counsellors looked at one another and silently withdrew to consider the problem. The King sat back and smiled to himself, certain he had set a difficult if not impossible challenge for his counsellors.
In the morning, the counsellors returned to the King and indicated they had composed a suitable motto. The King was greatly surprised and bade the chief of the counsellors to hand him the scroll they had prepared.
The King unrolled the scroll to find four simple words emblazoned on the parchment:
This Too Will Pass
The King pondered the words, smiled and in that moment knew that his counsellors were wise indeed.
*The Cosmopolite finishes his parable*
To all the peoples of Amarr, a tale to take as you will. The death of a man is always sad. I accord no special grief to the fact that he was ruler of a rotting empire.
If the passing of a man is merely change, as I believe it may very well be, may his change be a favourable one. As to the Amarrian Empire, I continue to look forward to its demise.

We are looking forward to a brilliant investigation with swift results (= present some innnocent, and kill them in public before a neutral can interview them).
Whoever managed to kille the supressor and upholder of slavery deserve an award.
This was a masterpiece of a surgery strike against the amarrian arrogance. No collateral damage whatsoever... Much better than the "bloodrider-style" i may add.

Yes, yes ,yes, let us all be sad and cry. Do not, however, mistake the assasination as an "attack on your sovereignty" - as most of us know that in Doriam's death do we gain sovereignty ourselves. The Minmatar, most of all, know this - and rightly so.

Yes assassinate the most Liberal Emperor Amarr has ever had.
That will helpyour cause of freedom... oh so much.
You perhaps should learn some about Amarran politics so that your hatred does not blind you so.
If anything you terrorist fools should have followed Midular's example and takend advantage of the fact that the Emperor Doriam was willing to not expand the Empire further.
But then your hate is too strong for that, isnt it?

I concur.
The death of any person is a sad occasion indeed, however, the death of those that uphold archaeic and immoral values always attracts less sympathy from those that dont share those same ideals. Regardless of your feelings for your emporer, this news is a victory for justice, freedom and the ideals of both my gallente people and minmitar bretheren. Perhaps you should take this time to re-assess your beliefs my old CVA friends - let this be the catalyst to the universal freedom of all mankind and the end to the oppressive regime of the Amarrian Empire.
For the Federation!

I will not mourn this man. He may well turn out to be the lesser of two evils, but their is no doubting the evil, he as head of his Empire, engaged in.
I will never mourn the death of a slaver. And I will certainly never mourn the death of the leader of slavers.
However, I would like to pay my.. respects. When is this mourning service?

I would just like to say this...
Today, our Empire is without an Emperor.
In due course a new Emperor will take to the throne, but now is not the time for speculation on who our new leader will be, or what their policies will be. An Empire is incomplete without an Emperor, and so a ruler should be selected as soon as possible, but in our haste let us not forget our recent past.
True, there is a lot of work to be done. I hope that the Sarum family will find an heir. I hope that the interim government and the Theology Council will find an acceptable way to select the new Emperor. I hope that the perpertrators of this vile act will be unmasked, located and brought to justice. But these are tasks over which most of the pod community will have little influence.
Rather, we should reflect on the life of Doriam the man, and Doriam the Emperor. We should remember and celebrate his deeds.
I believe that he will be remembered both for his continuation of the work of his predecessor and his lightning campaign against the Blood Raiders. A velvet glove on one hand, an iron one on the other.
May he rest in peace.

Something which the Hand of Gaod paid for, in his brief command (was it week or so) over the war against the Blood Raiders. His first major declarartion of war will forever be overshadowed by his death. Not in glorious battle, but from the shadows.
We are in every corner of your Empire now, it will take a huge chunk of bloody flesh out of your empire to cut us out. ---------------------------------

YOu may have noticed by now that even if it was us, if we're in Delve or not, we hold the dagger at your throats. Our arm is very long, as your Emperor may well have discovered.
