I'm not sure if this was a mistake or intended, but I'm curious as to why the Rolled Tungsten (Best named T1 1600mm plate), gives the same hp bonus as the 1600mm II version, yet T2 requires more PG and CPU. Why would anyone bother to use the T2 version when the named T1 gives the same for less? ------------------------- CEO of The Establishment |

The 800mm one only gives an extra 2hp bonus as well? The 400mm II is most definately bugged since even a standard T1 version beats it =P
make sure you bugreport it... -------------

well you can actually produce T2 plates in a factory and hence sold easily. That is the biggest advantage of T2 plates. ~

which is not the case with hardeners, passive hardners, etc etc.
Im not sure what the deal here is, but the 400hp is sure borked. An t2 shield extenders give more hp than best named, so why shouldnt plates? -------------

Edited by: Tas Devil on 06/07/2005 11:29:00 In general the rule is t2 gives same stats as best named t1 but with higher fitting requirements for t2....
The logic is that t2 cn be manufactured while t1 named can't. T1 name has easier skill req and fitting req too.
For those objects with insane skill training req like t2 large guns it means t1 named offer a very viable alternative (lower fitting lower skill req) but you have to pay the price (isk) ... while t2 offers the same attributes at a controlled price... in easily accessible volume as long as you can fit them and train the skills...
For low skill req items t1 named simply loose value as t2 is too easy to substitute due to easily accessible skill req.

Seems right, usually the best tech I item has the same stats as the tech II item with the exeption of fitting reqs, they are commonly higher on the tech II version.

Well he's right with the Shield Extenders. Seems unfair that they are stronger than the best named than Armour platings are. ------------------------- CEO of The Establishment |

Before calls of nerf shield extenders I would like to propose an alternative. Boost armour plating ^_^

Surely the Best named one has the same stats Because of what it represents ? its A combination of the finest materials And also a RARE item. Tech II Items are by nature Tech II they are not rare. Therefore HAving the Same Armour bonus on Tech II as to the best Normal seems perfectly normal to me . |

Then how do you justify the Shield Extender II's being a fair bit higher than their named counterparts? ------------------------- CEO of The Establishment |
