nothing my little sister at the majorettes can't do tbh, and without the crazy shouting
(don't know that the english term is, but majorettes are girls that twirl sticks and throw them really high up in the air and catch them and stuff... they usually perform with marching bands)

I don't get this kind of exhibition. I can't really see anything useful in those moves, except maybe for trying to fight a swarm of hornets.
Guess there's some skill to it, but it's not really in touch with the martial arts that spawned it.

think about the dexterity to do that though! I can hardly deal some cards yet alone do that. If both me and him had sticks my only hope would be that i could use longer reach on him, b/c he can certainly control it better then most ppl

Its actually not that hard. Pick up a stick 4.5 feet long, start swirling it around for 10-15 minutes a day and in a week you'll be 2/3 as good as this guy.
The problem with the swirling though is its nothing more than a display of dexterity.
If you're lucky to grab it while he's swirling it, and do a quick jerk, you've now got a defenseless kid in front of you.
But he's still pretty good for his age.
