what does the fact that i'm in an npc corp have to do with the fact that the topic of moon goo has been crated several times? care to actually address the argument rather than make irrelevant statements about the corp i'm in? |

not really, i'd just unsub my accounts than be "a fish in a barrel". i pass on my additional costs to the market, prices go up, i've still got the same purchasing power except now i also have more money going out replacing ships because i'm losing them to wardecs, or i've got less coming in because i'm not undocking during a wardec.
if i'm making less isk and i'm unable to buy a plex, i'm not putting my hand in my wallet for a sub. i'll just let the account lapse while i play steam games until people get bored of wardecing me.
Risk averse asocial carebears have always threatened mass unsubs whenever AFK isk grinding has been threatened with nerfs in any way. So far in EVE, all attempts to cater to this "PVP-intolerant" demographic by releasing risk-free PvE expansions has resulted in lowered subscriptions and are considered failures, and everything implemented that impeded AFK isk farming has not had mass unsubs. So I weight your unsub threat with that knowledge in mind.
Here's some tips you could do so you could continue your legalized RMT 'playstyle' that's allegedly worth compromising the game for - make friends - fight back - hire protection - pay ransom - move to a place where wardecs have no effect
So really NPC corps could be removed. If 'no risk-free, cost-free security blanket' would make you stop playing EVE, well I'm afraid you were never really playing it to begin with. |

If only there was farmable instanced content that awarded an alternate currency which we could use to purchase the most desirable items, then we would have true MMO equality, everyone would pay their 'fair share' and it would attract tons of casuals and hardcores alike! Clearly a recipe for success.
Make it so CCP, level the playing field and make access for one-man tax shelter corps to the things that large alliance and power blocs have to band together to achieve. |

I've already taken neodymium moons singlehandedly, so this entire thread from my POV has been already disproven before 'Mr. R4ndom' hit the post button. This thread could be used for something good, like debating the merit of NPC corps. |

i fail to see how it compromises the game so much to begin with, but never the less. let's address your points.
friends. uh, what? just, what. how does the number of friends i have influence this in any way?
fight back. that's still time i'm not making isk, and losses are still losses. i may as well not undock and save the isk losses on combat ships since either way, fighting or docked i'm still making 0 isk.
move to 0.0. (yes i'm making an assumption there, it is the correct assumption though right?) i could do that. and then i'd still make less isk docking up every time a neutral rolled in to the system, then see the "fight back" section of the argument.
all removing npc corps will do is force me to not really play the game and do something else instead. not entirely sure how any one benefits from that, least of all me. |

The simple, Gods to honest is truth is that you can't have it both ways. You can have a game where everyone is forcibly made equal, like in WoW, and it will have zero sandbox elements. Or you can have a sandbox game, and the cream will naturally rise to the top, leaving a few haves dominating many, many more have-nots.
I prefer the latter scenario because it mimics the real world. You might not like it, but a lot of us aren't playing this game to experience a sense of equality. |

Yet again all the big alliances, take everything in eve and nothing anyone can ever do. Perhaps its time to quit the game as this will always happen. No one will ever get anything other than these. so forget all other alliances and low sec/high sec people.
i am sick and tired paying for a game, where everything and anything in eve is taken by these power blocs.
So now they make even more billions on top of the tech for doing sweet fa
way to go and continue to alienate the rest of player base...when will it ever stop
This is news? They started taking the other moons over a year ago, when CCP starting talking about doing something to nerf Tech. I would think by now they are just finishing up taking any important moons they missed.
Risk free pvp ftw?

I normally don't waste time explaining things to drones, but I'll make an exception.
Income > any possible losses you could incur == risk free pvp.
I simplified it for you as much as possible, hope that helps.....

but, if you're fighting to take the moon, you don't have the moon (or it's income) to make the pvp risk free.... |

I think you underestimate the sheer volume of ships we lose in hilarious ways. I suppose a tax rate might matter to folks who cared about things like ratting and isk/hr . |

CCP will not cut off the hands that feed them. Most subs will come from the vets and their many alts that live and fight in nullsec. This is their bread and butter, therefore they give them what they want.
Nullsec wouldnt survive without the massive fights and content, and this cant be provided unless there is a massive stream of income. For example if you have 500 v 500 and they both lost 300 ships, without isk to replace such massive losses no one would fight again for months. Not very exciting is it?
However i do think massive income should be available just may not this easy, these are massive coalitions, so surely they can stump up 50/100 miners everyday? or everything should be based on alchemy. What happened to back in the day when mining ABC ores was the money spinner |

OP...
As a fairly newblet in Eve, i just love this game, and its just full of suprices and the whole economic system is beurifull... this said, im a carebear, im in CAS, and i take my time in high sec to learn things as mine, skill and socialice and learn from the experienced people in CAS... now for the problem of the big four, the issue you point to, is in itself its weakness, okay they take ower all moongoo, and control it making it valuable, well, since you cant compete in null, dont use T2 things, make others stop buying anything conected with T2 things, since you cant compete in null, so why compete at all, use the cheap T1 stuff, and let them sit on ALL their moongoo, if they cant sell it... its wourth nothing , beside you can get faction gear wich is better then T2
