Hi. I'm a scanner who uses probes. I have found three secret complexes so far in empire and am unaware of any others. Please Evemail me the system name and I'll scan for it if it's not one of the three. If it's not, I'll give you a bookmark to it for free. Otherwise, I'll sell you one of my existing bookmarks to it. I can guarantee I'll find the bloody thing if it's there ^^.

Blood raider, huh? I don't think I've found one of those yet! I've found Angel, Sansha and Gurristas. Think you could float the location my way? ;)

Dumb question, but how do you know when to look for a secret complex? Do you just go to every system and do a probe scan? Or do you do a normal system scan first, and then use probes to get closer if you see one?
I'm just not sure if people are just running around launching probes in every system looking for them or not.

Do a mornal scan to see if you see anything thats not normal but you have to go to every part of the system seeing that your normal scanner dones scan a hole system.

In your "overview" set it to look for "Cosmic Signatures" .. When using your normal scanner click to use the overview settings, and scan range at 14au (that's max, if you type in like 9999999999999 and hit scan it'll default back to 14).. Most systems are larger than 14 au (so you'll need to warp around to find the signature) The Signature will appear as "and this is the only type I know of" a "Deadspace Signature" in the type list .. There will likely be other "Signatures" listed but I havent seen one yet. After you locate those you need to use scan probes.. Scan probes have a little bug atm .. If you click what you want to scan then hit okay then it doesnt work .. Doubleclick the thing you wanna find ;P .. so Cosmic Signature
With the new scanner delay added in.. if your in a HUGE system (like 250 au wide) then you might as well just drop out some of the largest scan probes

No. Deadspace missions do not give off a deadspace signature.

Not to mention most deadspace missions seem to occur outside of the 1au thickness scanprobes can utilize.
