There's already a massive supply couple with a massive demand for paste.
Price probably won't move much. |

That'll end well. If i recall correctly (i do) CCP talked about turning the whole thing upside down, giving SHIELDTANKERS a speed penalty ..............
Of course it was just an idea ... but hey ... they might even do it ! ^_^ Inappropriate signature removed. Spitfire |

There's a large supply of nanite paste just from regular production and nobody is stockpiling it because after the changes there will still be enough supply to counter any pump and dump people might try.
Now if the actual biuld cost of paste were to change, that would be change things, but at best we're looking at a moderate increase in demand, that supply chains can easily adjust to.
In short, there are far more obvious changes for people to speculate in, like the upcoming battlecruiser changes and the not too far of battleship changes after that.

The reason is that the AAR, unlike the ASB, is a very mediocre module.
I mainly see it replacing the first rep in most setups in pve on the basis that they're predictable as to when you'll want the extra rep boost and can choose your timing to coast on the lower rep and when to reload.
For pvp I think we'll still be seeing mainly ASB fits, even on bonused armour tankers.
The reasons are very simple. ASBs use no cap; ASBs fit in multiples; ASBs give a huge burst. The AARs do none of these things and are infinitely inferior.
The only point at which AARs seemed that they might live up to the ASB in any way was when there was the additional prospect of the rigs designed specifically to support them, but they were so flawed they got pulled within days of the thread going up; another half-feature then for armour tanking and a lot of disappointed players who would prefer a real choice. |

Rah was already heavily nerf before it was introduced, and it's still not very appealing in pvp under capital size ships.
AAR is the same stuff, about to be introduced and already nerf to the ground+new uber skill to train. Nice stuff for station/gate camping thou...

Wait, what? What skill changes? Are skills going to change? Will I get a refund? Can I get free SP? What skill changes? To repeat, the skill split is scheduled for the big Summer 2013 expansion. ~CCP Fozzie |

AARs are not meant to mirror ASBs one to one.
I get that for some is fitting a ship a difficult task and so they help themselves by reducing their choices down to only tank and gank. You can however not use this as a basis for any argument on the usefulness of a new module when it is you who has got difficulties with it in the first place and expect it to fit your style. In the next step do you then complain about ECM drones, because you did not fit any ECCM... Loss is meaningful. Therefore is the loss of meaning likewise meaningful. It is the source of all trolling. |

You are surely making a lot of assumptions. Perhaps you can educate us about the gains and losses of fitting AARs vs ASBs? Feel free to use armor rep bonused hulls with all Vs as base reference.
In case you haven't done your homework before opening your mouth, are lazy or simply don't know how to use EFT, here's a spoiler:
You trade ISK, cap, tank and dps for the priviledge of fitting a web instead of TEs.

I didn't ask you to repeat stuff that is obvious to everyone but you, I asked you to list the concrete advantages of choosing AARs over ASBs. Or do imply that they are made different only because something has to suck?
