Hi
Was looking to try some faction cruisers and frigates but was not sure which has a edge thats worth the extra cost ?
I believe some frigs are especially favoured for FW but not sure which ones ?
thanks |

Navy ships are really pretty cheap. I'm fond of the Stabber Fleet Issue. an awesome armor brawler. It's more than capable of shredding frigates and out-brawling many cruisers and battle-cruisers. |

Navy Crusiers are pretty good, especially the Stabber Fleet Issue and Omen Navy Issue. Navy frigates are also good, but due to the recent frigate changes they have lost some of their edge when it comes to DPS or tank DUST514 isn't on PC because CCP wants 2 different communities influencing each other, not people tabbing out to give themselves Orbital Strikes. (Also they don't want to cannibalise their existing playerbase) |

The Vigilant is awesome, if you can afford it. Amazing dps, very fast, and a web bonus to ensure that nothing can out-run your tracking. |

The Caldari Navy Hookbill is an excellent ship with a tremendous range of viable fits, making it a wild card when you see it on d-scan. Shields, rockets, and missiles are "in" right now, and 5 mid slots is nothing short of amazing. |

The Hookbill is retardedly good at brawling other ships to dust, and can field some EWAR to boot. For faction cruisers, SFI is by far my favourite. It gets great tank and can rip smaller ships to shreds. |

The caracal navy is the ultimate frigate terminator, and with Rage lights and good tank, it can deliver good damage projection to cruisers with the same fit. |

Have to disagree with this one. Post-T1-Cruiser-patch the Navy Caracal is at best a very minor upgrade over the standard Caracal (slightly better dps, but kinetic-only), and arguably a much worse ship (much slower, less EHP). Unless you really love the paint scheme on the faction ship there's really no reason to ever fly it. |

I know the vanilla Caracal is better for the price, but he was asking for faction cruisers. I flown the caracal navy a lot before tiercide, and it was a good improvement (also sexy camo paint)
But since the tiercide... I'm just flying caracals. Even the Cerberus is Meh against the Caracal.

Yes, recommend the worst faction frig of them all.. Well done.
Cruisers most bang for buck would be SFI
Frigs.. comets, hookbills and slicers are all great at doing their thing. |

A lot of the frigs and cruisers have been very badly hurt by the rebalance. Navy Caracals, Navy Vexor and Firetails have been all but obsoleted. The Nomen, and the Comet are still somewhat useful, but nowhere near what they used to be. The tier 1 faction cruisers were always crap. Only the Hookbill, Slicer, and SFI are still really good ships. |

I would also say the Slicer, SFI and the Comet. The Comet less so than the other two, but it wins pretty big hipster points.

Navy cruisers are not balanced yet, as T2 cruisers too.
Faction you have Cynabal and Vigilant, both are very good at what they do. (shield Vigilant is a monster) *removed inappropriate ASCII art signature* - CCP Eterne |
