Annoys me that after the patch you cant accept missions in space anylonger. Pre Patch it worked fine to get an mission offered to you then accept it at a later point, from whereever you was.

Yes please, especially when doing the station assault mission in 0.0, it'd be nice if you could undock to see whats outside before accepting the mission ------------------

I can only assume that they removed precisely to stop us from doing that... clicking to find out where he wants us to pick stuff up, then docking there before accepting, thereby halving the time the mission will take to complete. etc. etc.
Well, if we're not supposed to do that, so be it. Bit of a pain, though.

If you are working with multiple agents in same region, its a bit of a hassle when you cant accept a mission offered when you are in same system as mission or got it next door, due to a mission you already completed brought you there. They added enough travel time as there is

It was never intended that you be able to accept a mission at the pickup point. That would effectively give an advantage to players who had figured it out, leaving new players at a disadvantage. I think when they finally found out that people were doing it (maybe someone was kind enough to bug report it or make a suggestion), they changed the system so that you can't do that any more.
They changed it for a reason. They haven't shared that reason with us but whatever it is, do you really think you can change their minds?

It worked like that for months and months again. If it wasnt intended they should have stated so or applied some fix for it much sooner. Mission runners have become the most screwed over profession in EVE with all the changes to modules, traveling, bounties, mission rewards, the ridicilous pirate faction bpc drop rate in complex's that help make empire faction prints you get from LP offers a joke.
Working with multiple agents at a time is hard enough as it is, but I guess you never been there or done that It was never intended for level 4 missions to be group oriented either, but they been forced that way with no proper form for sharing and grouping.
Mission runners become the ugly stepchild that got thrown into the forest to die in EVE. Isn't it enough that you can make more in average mining veldspar in empire for no risk at all compared to most level 4 missions? How much more insults can you throw on top of it?

Sort of related topic, does anyone know if allowing Important missions to lapse (i.e. not accepting them) causes any hits since the patch (haven't wanted to find out the hard way)
I only ask here because I find I'm having to go quite a long way out of my way to engage the storyline agent in conversation at his own station (and tell him I'm not interested in his mission). I much preferred being able to tell him to sod off from a place of my choosing

I agree, we need it changed back. It really sucks to have gone 10 jumps aonly to find out you forgot to accept the mission especially with r&d agents.
Please ccp, change it back so we can accept in space.

Agree, I want this option back also. CCP should really take in acount our opinion on this, because, in the end ... we are the cusomers :P
