Here's an idea for you. A little button at the bottom of the screen that will engage your warp drive to throw you an extra 10,000 kilometers forward. Handy for showing up at a blockaded jump gate and getting the heck out. Much handier than 5 different drop down menus and trying to click everywhere before you get warp jammed.
Call it an emergency warp button if you will.

Good idea.
Hell, as long as you are messing around with the Warp function, make an "Emergency Stop" function, so in case you need to stop, for whatever reason, you can.

Um... isnt that what Micro-Warp drives are for... warping forward an extra 10k or so ? I do like the idea of an "emergency stop" feature. Often ive been too slow turning off autopilot when I wanted to stop progressing on my route for whatever reason.

Another option would be to set autopilot to another system, and if you get into trouble just slap that on.

Micro Warp drive only increases your speed 700% or more, it is not a warp function you can still be shot at, stasis webified or whatever. I'm just thinking, because if you jump into a blockade, it takes a couple seconds lag for you to even see theres a threat and then a few more while to expand continuos drop down menues to find a location and that you want to warp there, and by the time you have that done you'ce already been warp jammed. The button would just give people that extra second or two to identify there is a threat and get the hell out.
I also like the idea of the emergency stop. That would be handy for when you click to warp somewhere and realize you forgot to scoop your drones.

I don't know, the build-up on getting into warp just might not be worth it. MWD seems a good balance for now.
