I know Amarr are typically armor tanked, but I was looking for a fit that was cap stable and had some good passive tank with the ability to still have good dps. This is my build so far, but is by no means perfect. Also this is using cheap items making this an economy build. The whole set up so far is only around 65 - 70 mill.
This set up has one weakness that I see initially and that is that it has a large signature (399) and is fairly slow (187.5)
It does, however, boast 410.4 dps at 40km, stable cap, passive shield tank of 74.34, and 50k EHP.
Feel free to look over the build and critique. In fact I encourage you to critique it (constructively) so that it can get better. Also note these stats could be significantly better with more expensive fittings. Like I said, I was going for a more economy lower end build.

No offense, but what's it for? It isn't really fast enough to kill while kiting (yes, even in PvE) and it doesn't have enough tank to do much more than sit there and hope to break rats before they break you.
Since you have a probe launcher I'm going to guess exploration, but what rats and what sec? BCs are rather disfavored in high sec because they can only squeeze into 4/10s -- and on those, you'd better be able to mount some kind of chase to the can if/when you get crashed by a T3. This is less likely in low, but there you have major mobility issues that mean you're basically dead if you jump into a camp. |

In wormholes where neuts really come into play that Harbinger will melt anyhow. And honestly if you're neuted out and can't warp you're dead simply because you won't be able to fire the guns either.
If you really want to do it, I'd passive shield more like this:
[Harbinger, wormholes forums modified] Heat Sink II Heat Sink II Damage Control II Beta Reactor Control: Diagnostic System I Beta Reactor Control: Diagnostic System I Nanofiber Internal Structure II
Experimental 10MN Afterburner I Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II Adaptive Invulnerability Field II

Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I Medium Core Defense Field Purger I Medium Core Defense Field Purger I
SFCs are basically awful at everything, and while PDUs don't provide the same tank boost SPRs do they actually help you stay cap stable rather than hindering it. Tanks 118 omni (my skills) and is stable with IN multi (and so should be good with everything). Slightly better range too.
Oh, and it can pick its position on the field. Which is very helpful.
Downgrading the second LSE to another FS-9 opens up the possibility of swapping the TE for another heat sink. |

This right here is simultaneously what's wrong with the BC shield regen time and with wormhole rat design for racial balance in ship design. Lasers are very neut susceptible. Amarr ships that use lasers do not have many midslots. BC shield regen is stupidly set in favor of passive shield. Wormhole system and npc rat design to one extent or another favors shield, passive shield, capless weapons, and/or range, in other words Caldari and the everpresent Tengus.
OP, I hope you enjoy beating your head against a wall trying to fly Amarr. If you decide not to you will be deciding to follow the crowd to a Tengu. Isn't this a wonderful game. A whole entire segment of game pve that is designed strictly for one ship. |

You'd need 200+ dps tank for C2 anoms, you can do it in a dual rep Harb which will still have more dps than a Drake but less range, in the end it kinda evens out. I've never tried a passive shield tanked Harb for C2s though, the fit above with 118 omnitank won't survive and there's 1 site with a neuting BS which will cap you out very quickly. |

He has 4 midslots. If only there were some kind of midslot module that could inject quantities of capacitor, something that would boost his cap even whilt he was being neuted. Vote for Malcanis for CSM8 https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=192717&find=unread |

When Malcanis speaks, You should pay attention. Your design is flawed. It looks good here but in reality or practice. Your a target. I'd gank you and i'm new at pvp. A nuet and your toast.
So your options are many. Amaar ships are good. Fit a cap booster/recharger. Might want to train up or use ac/arti's...Drones maybe. It depends on you. I prefer amaar ships but i'm trained to fly most other races frigs/cruisers..along with wep systems.
Note, i am suggesting you try what you want. Will you lose that and many other ships....Hell Yes. But you'll learn and trust what the above posters are saying. You asked for help...Don't argue with the advice.

Wishful thinking, duh. There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency. |

Yeah, I've heard you can never run out of cap booster 800s. It's like having shield regen. You don't have to worry about tank over time, or here, cap over time. It just lasts and lasts. |
