I'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times, but, with the latest nerfs, I'll ask again.
I have 7 mil SPs, and am interested in what frigate might give me the best survivabilty for the buck while doing Null sec scouting.
I suspect that most people will suggest T2 frigates. No problem with that.
I'm just interested in what people think works best. |

Don't really need T2. A standard T1 Atron/Executioner with all nanos, mwd and a prototype/improved cloak is enough. I ran around in this thing for a bit in null. It's cheap and it works.
P.S Make sure you know how to properly do the MWD warp trick when caught in a bubble. |

I'd take a covert ops frig, the faster and more agile the better when all you need are eyes and maybe probes.
While you can scout with a lot of different ships, t1 frigs included, paying 30+ mil for a covert ops frig simply makes scouting a lot more effortless.
If you need the ability to keep targets locked down or provide a cyno and survive a recon like the Rapier would be preferred. |

I used a bomber and a pre nerf Dramiel, lost 1 dram due to encountering a newt cane for the first time (never knew about solo newt canes back then) never lost a bomber. |

I know the mechanics, but it just seems like I am too slow. Do most people use Keyboard Shortcuts instead of mousing through those situations?
