Ok, i know there's lots of these out there, but i was just looking for suggestions on my particular setup.
High: 5x Ion II's 1x empty
Med: Y8 MWD Web Scram
Low: t2 med repair t2 explosive hardener N-type em hard t2 energized thermic hard 400mm rolled tungsten t2 pds
I have advanced weapon upgrade lvl 4. Have max cap, pg, and cpu skills. I am left with 2 cpu and about 150 pg on this setup. Any suggestions for something to do with that extra highslot. With all the t2 gear it really eats at my cpu. also, if i put all electron 2's on i may be able to switch out the 400 for an 800. This setup gives me good all round resistance and good dmg though. Comments please and thank you =-)

Edited by: KilROCK on 30/08/2005 04:24:19 Get electrons, Lose the tanking, shove damage mod, cap relays, keep a explosion hardener, put a nos.
If you need more tanking add an energized adaptive nano II or equivalent..

Shameless plug:
I suggest using a tech 2 version of this. Available at my ammo shop in Alentene, in Yulai DED and in Stacmon Fed Navy stations. And in near future in other selected regions. ----- Sable's Ammo Shop at Alentene 5, Moon 4, Duvolle Laboratories Factory. Ammo at affordable prices. |

deimos needs dmg mods.
At least 2 or 3. Anything else is... Or maybe 800mm t2 plate and electrons. But try to stick 1 or 2 dmg mods on anyway.

I have to agree with the other posters, get rid of all of that tanking and put some more damage in there. If you really want to use Ion IIs get an RCU II, otherwise fit Electron IIs and a Nosferatu II and fill the low slots with a basic tank, damage mods and if you can't fit anything else, capacitor upgrades (like a Cap Relay).

what is the advantage to having my ship buffed on mag stabs over a decent tank. keeping all but explosive at about 80%. I was looking for like a 1v1 setup. Would the extra dmg put them out b4 they could take me? if they are using explosive dmg deimos seems like a death trap.

Edited by: Jhodas on 02/09/2005 07:59:51 Deimos is an all or nothing ship. It's close range, and all about DPS. It's them or you. If you wanna tank, fit light blasters and a 1600 plate.
However if you actually want to hit for more than 3 DPS, fit Ions, and small nos and a PDU, along with 2 hardeners, a medium repper, and 2 dmg mods. (Think CPU will be tight, swap a dmg mod for a CPR if it doesnt fit)
Oh, and use the named MWD, it saves you 15 grid.
Oh, AND read this thread
