Just wondering if any other Corps are feeling the pain of the spring time lull in activity?? Or is it just me? Legion of Patriots CEO http://lop.eve-kill.net http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Educational_organizations#Legion_Of_Patriots |

Tends to happen as school years end and finals start happening.
Then as the school year is over people tend to also stop playing as they go vacation and go out and do stuff. While a certain % do instead spend their summers in EVE the group that spend the free time away from EVE is actually greater and thus we get this dip in activity every year around summer. to the point where i decided to get the bus home from the train station rather than walk up and down several icy hills. honestly, where are my daffodils and gentle spring rain? this snow stuff is obscene. Want miners to move from high sec to null sec? Then give them a reason to join player corps, and stop null sec grav sites being worth less isk/hour than high sec asteroid belts. Really isn't difficult. |

******* tell me about it, been down a manhole all day with icicles forming above me then dropping on me.
Goddamn typical, I arrange to get construction work done based on the fact that last 10 years March has averaged 32mm of rain (East Mids) and what happens? 72mm of rain, sleet and now snow with an average temp of 1.9C.
Isn't global warming wonderful

Some people feel the need once or twice a year to see the sun or get out and talk to people face to face. This is always bad for EvE, which relies on Sun-intolerant basement-dwelling socially awkward neckbeards to fuel its subscription base. Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings? |

Where I live, we have Spring. In fact we even have Spring Training (and WBC). It is pretty beautiful if not periodically hot. Yes, it does make us go outside more. Woe is us trying to E-on. |

Spring and summer is times were you can see a drop in activety in many corps. Especially if you have a lot of older players (note real life age) and spring/summer is when kids are out of school, famely vacations, do all tat yard work, helping the better half around the house, barbeque parties and famely gatherings.
Its one of those things most older gamers get used to and you know it will happen, and its hard to counter unless you are willing to recruit more younger players (teens/young adults) that spends more time on the computer between school. Yeah it has been a learning experience as a CEO of a small corp. Activity goes down, recruitment is a bit harder. Good lessons to be learned though. Legion of Patriots CEO http://lop.eve-kill.net http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Educational_organizations#Legion_Of_Patriots |

Spring?? Its a balmy 33degrees (Celsius for you non-metric heathens) here... and raining... I'm looking forward to winter when it will be a lovely 31degrees and not raining...
I still wonder why the Poms just didn't leave the crims on the little island and all emigrate to the big island :) There is no such thing as a fair fight...

before you do that, can I have your stuff? One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia Malcanis for CSM8 |
