I received a Praetor II BPO from an agent and the build skills were Electronic Engineering LVL 5, Industry LVL5 and Mechanical Engineering LVL 5. I spent allmost 50 days training Electronic Engineering and Mechanical Engineering to LVL 5 (industry was allready there)so I could start building these only to find out they changed those to skills this morning with the patch to only needing LVL 3. Thanks for wasting allmost 50 days of skill training, I cant even start to tell you how much I "appreciate" that. Nothing at all about this change in the patch notes to warn of this.

The man isnĘt complaining he got hosed by this change. Put yourself in his position, how would you feel training something for that long only to have it laid to waste? Your comment just showĘs what an imbecile you are. |

Comfort yourself by lying on a bed of large denomination ISK notes that you will earn from sales of your Praetor II's.

Dude, once there was a time all gunnery skills had willpower as primairy skill. They changed it to perception. Do I need to say more... with 29 willpower!

I am sure its pretty much universal that ppl get hosed somewhat EVERY patch.
I remember lamenting trashing station containers before we could melt them.
I also wish I could have hoarded Diplomacy books when they were turned off for a while after exodus.
Long and short - Now u collect RnD points faster for your NEXT T2 BPO. Every silverlining has a dark cloud, and the glass is neither 1/2 full or 1/2 empty, the water evaporated. TotensBurntCorpse Likes EVE, Starfleet Command Series, Earth & Beyond, Anything Battlefield, MOHAA, Call of Duty.

reminds me of when i spent a month training Fuel consevation 5, Afterburner 5, acceleration control 5, and various other skills so i could mount dual abs on my Maller for NPC hunting
Or when I got podded with a full rack of implants right before they nerfed the drop rate and prices went through the roof
i could go on, but then id just depress myself even more Time to get back in my Harpy....before it gets nerfed too. Life.....dont talk to me about life.....

In every patch, some people will be stoked and others will feel "nerfed". Companies do this in the endless pursuit of "play balance". Sooner or later, someone may achieve it, but the reality is no matter how balanced things are, someone will always feel the world's against them.
That being said, that sucks

Ok, that just blows. You should atleast try and petition this and maybe if you are unbelievably lucky something will happen. Although I have never heard of changing SP for anyone so far.

Yep, just like the OP, ive spent the last 21 Days training a skill that is now un-needed due to a stealth nerf. 512,000 Sp just like that. Now i get to hope for another BPO to switch to an agent to use the useless skill

Well they are all impoertant level 5 skills, soner or later you would have to train them anyway, now its done, and you have skills trained and a nice BPO.
If you feel cheated or thats it is just unfair, hand me over your BPO, and delete your char. So Say I. Einheriar Ulrich of the Bloodline of Einheriar.

Really? So explain how electronic engineering is an important skill. ItĘs a science skill only used by R&D agents to research certain fields that NONE of my R&D are researching so why would I have had to train it other than it was required to be able to build the drones? All my agents are researching mechanical engineering which if I wanted it at a level 5 for more daily points I would have done so long ago. I had no other reason to take this to level 5 other than to fulfill the requirements to manufacture the drones which the day I was finishing the training they reduced thus making the last 50 days of training a waste of time.
Yes I feel cheated, yes I feel it was unfair but then again CCP is notorious for these kind of actions so no, it doesnĘt surprise me. As far as handing over my BPO to you and deleting my character all I have to say is thatĘs one of the dumbest ideas posted so far in this thread so you win the prize.

Originally by: Aldelphius but to someone new in the game, I could see how it could be frusterating.
but what are the odds of someone new having an R&D agent, and getting a T2 BPO? most new people don't/won't go for R&D right off the bat |
