Am I the first one?
wherever I go, nomather how many systems I jump through my dear moon keeps following me. However if I rotate the camera to a certain angle it dissapears. But when I reotate back ir reapears.
I wonder if I can put a pos on it?
Please CCP, pimp my moon.

I little looking planet seems to be stuck next to my ship, and it spins around my ship when I move the camera around.
planet stuck next to my ship 1
planet stuck next to my ship 2 but I moved the camera to show how I made it hide behind an asteroid
it is hard to see behind the asteroid but it is the perfect round one peeking out.
I think it likes me, can I bring it home with me?
Originally by: Tiki Rar Getting the planets stuck on the side of my ship too. Ati Card. Also web gfx seems to stay even if im out of webrange.
Originally by: Jacxx I believe that the planet sprite and celestial model problems are coming from their resizing origin, meaning the point in space in which all the sprite are placed around in such a way that makes them appear far away, is your ship. It should be your camera, that way when you move the camera the sprites location in space changes accordingly so that they still appear far away. But this isn't happening. When you zoom out the camera the sprites are staying in the same spot, allowing you to move the camera in such a way that makes them appear to be ontop of your ship. It also causes them to un-align with their icons in space.
You're not crazy, as you can see it happened to me too.

I had one of these little moons yesterday as well. Disappeared when I jumped through a gate unforunately
Seems to be one of those totally random bugs that tend to appear after patches. |

A friend of mine had this happen to him.
We reckon he's so fat he has his own gravitational pull

Easily the best graphical glitch since getting caught on an asteroid so big that your entire ship disappeared, resulting in the great warping veldspar.

I really have to find my screenie where a sun was giving me a giant holographic display of the market. That was an interesting one.
The giant display moved as i moved my camera and was even blocked out when i moved my ship in front of the sun.
No pet planets yet though, though I wait in hope.

First thing I saw as I entered the game after the patch was a perspectively (is that a word?) incorrect moon that followed me halfway through the warp.

You know what really weirded me out, was last night I warped from a station to a gate and had one of those small sparkly planet graphics hanging around my ship. You know, the ones when you're out of warp range but close enough to sort of see it, they're little sparkly stars?
Anyway, as I rotated my camera around and around, the thing moved at different speeds and angles. It was like having a UFO buzzing around my ship. Weird

"That's not a moon, that's a space station."
Sticky moons were caused by a camera glitch, which is why they disappeared when viewed at certain angles. This will be fixed in tomorrow's mini-patch. You can read further here.
