[1] Sadly one of the only ways to escape stuck-to-asteroids/object is being removed from the game. If you happen to get stuck to any object during warp, the only means you had to try to encourage your ship to move out of the sticky situation was to activate afterburners, or a microwarp drive to try to get past the object that was causing the 'sticky' effect, and then warp would kick in. This was the only thing you could do as there is no cancel warp option, so if you were stuck at warp you could only do this, as you can't do anything else. Other then that your only option was to log off after filing a petition and hope no pirate NPC's arrive afterwards and kill your ship whilst you are being logged out. Relogging used to fix this two or three patches back, but sadly if you relog, you just come back to a ship stuck at warp. Why should you have to relog anyway? This just isn't a good situation. Being able to use your burners/microwarp drive, or any other module appart from shield boosters (that means capacitor rechargers to keep your capacitor power high also is out of the question), so when you are stuck, you will be stuck. File a petition, and thats it. Amazingly this means more support work, but seems they are wanting that. I agree personally this has to be the biggest issue in this game, and its getting worse. At least all other issues revolve around doing something, not being unable to do anything at all. Cancel warp is sadly missing, and no sign of an appearance. |
