What is the bare minimum required to assemble a packaged ship, and then put modules on it, in Space. Can you just assemble a ship inside of an orca then jet it? Do you need Ship Assembly Array with a PoS? What about a Ship Maintenance Array? Cooperate Hangar Array?
Also what about battleships, they cant fit in an Orca's ship bay. |

Last time I checked, if you Jet a packaged ship, it doesn't usually come out in a Jet Can. It hits space and magically assembles into a flyable ship.
At which point, you'd just need an Orca/Carrier/SMA nearby for fitting.
Since it wouldn't have any cargo in it, all the fittings and ammo would need to be in the nearby Orca/Carrier/Corp hangar.
As for BS, they should fit packaged as well. Once you kick them and they become a ship, getting them home will be another matter. =) |

Just tried doing this with an Orca and Iteron, is there no option to jet the ship, there is only an assemble ship option. And in doing so, it assembles the ship and puts it in your cargo hold/maintenance bay- not in space. We are trying to unpackage and assemble battleships. |

Dude,
You are just gonna have to fly them in. Having moved in and out of 3 different WH systems, yes it SUCKS. Takes forever. Teaches you to learn how to only bring in what you need.
Although actually, you can put a packaged ship into a CHA. Assemble it inside the CHA. Then as long as the SMA is close enough you can drag it over. |
